QUOTE(overfloe @ Jul 13 2011, 12:19 PM) No sound when braking hard. Trust me, the bosch pads behaves similar to the ori Vios pads.. they might be the same afterall The best way to find out is to visit a reliable spart parts shop, ask them to take out Vios and Bosch pads together and compare.. if you can verify the vios pad is original, then get it if the price is much lower than the price at SC. bosch if i can recall correctly must be < RM100.. i've bought it a few times.. The 2nd option is bendix metal king. it wont produce so much dust but still dusty after 1 week of use, and can be noisy at times. Bosch (power plus) is the best balance between Price/Performance/Dust the only bad thing about it is not all spare parts shop are selling it. I bought them at PH Auto, PJ. Then I guess I'll give it a try, saw some sellers in this forum selling it around RM50-60 for Bosch PowerPlus as well but not sure if they are still selling since they don't seem to be active anymore. As for the Bendix Metal King, heard a lot of good reviews about its bite but also many are complaining that it could also be bad for the disc rotors after a while.

I was dissapointed that the cover couldnt fit in and thought it looked funny...But after sometime, i got use to it and think it looked OK. Mind sharing how you manage to fit the cover in? ... first of all.. the lower "drawer" box have 2 "pin" on top to hold the old player.. with new player.. the 2 pin will sort of pushing the player leave 1 line between the player and drawer.. user cutter to cut this 2 pin so there is no line/gap between the player and drawer.... install as usual... force the bottom of the cover to let the player and drawer holding the many small pins of the cover.. the above part of the cover... u can't do anything.. the left and right side simply not hold coz the center part are curve out.. 1 solution.. double side tape for left n right.. I do think without cover also look ok since all black...

I'm a happy Vios G '09 owner i am not sure.. but my parents car last time, came with the car using the soft furry type[white-tish].. then parents buy the 'leather' ? and like wrap around the old wan.. because my dad is a bit dirty due to his work.. and we wrap all our cushion into brown colour 'leather' ? and that cost urm.. a few hundred...not more than 700 i assume..? but that was like a few years back..3-4 years back.. not sure tho what kind of leather u meant.. like really remove the old fabric and replace with leather only..? or like what i meant above..?

Problem is Import Ori RM270/pair is from Japan Local ori is RM160/pair So much difference & what do they mean by local ori? My guess is they use 3rd party pads which is cheaper & market it as Toyota Ori.

Hullo, new E-spec owner checking in after collecting the car, I realise the charge socket is really far from the windscreen - could be troublesome plugging into GPS.. Anyone has a creative solution?
