stock 15"'s profile is 185/60R15

FC depends on rim weight and tyre profile... if you change to 15" and maintain 175, there should not be increase in FC...

like my City VTEC, i changed from 185/55R15 to 195/55R15... i lose around... 20km per full tank of 550km... less than 5%? smile.gif

ask him to explain why makan minyak first, different people have different experience with cars smile.gif
*
Actually from wat i understand from him, is that bigger rim need bigger tyre = heavier = bad FC...

remain 175 ? will it too weird ? sorry, im not familiar with tyre stuff, still learning~ blush.gif

well logically he's correct smile.gif
but there are a lot of 15" light weights around 5kg/rim as compared to the stock's 8-9kg/rim smile.gif

IMHO, i wouldn't go more than 195 since i drive mostly in the city... 185 -> 195, the grip is quite a lot, that's what i felt...

175 is a bit thin... pickup is good though smile.gif

no worries, slowly learn, a lot of sifus around tongue.gif

i can't even find the brand, dafaq doh.gif

petrol depends on how far you travel daily... around 36-40l per full tank, you calculate lor base on RON95/97...
maintenance every 10k (or 6 months whichever comes first) around RM300-400 with fully synthetic oil
of course major service more expensive...
facelift is new 15" rims and smoked headlamps
depends on how much downpayment you pay and what's the interest rates and if you get any discounts...

my current Vios J (Manual) uses the ULW (Ultra Light Weight) rims... very nice and able to maintain very nice FC and coupled with a 195 tyres...

but sadly... i cannot take the rims and put on my new vios J (Auto) since if i do so, the price that i let go of my current J (Manual) drops significantly sad.gif.. but i'm ok with it since my new Vios J(A) comes with a standard 15" rims + 185 tyres.. should last me a couple of years before i need to change it again...(need to recover some funds after the downpayment and bodykit for my new Vios J (Auto) )

at the moment i think the interest rate is at 2.49% and yes you'll end up with around RM750 ++ if make a 10% downpayment..

I just get confirmation from my toyota sales that the G specs original ICE actually is build with AUX compatible but the stupid toyota not bringing out the cable connection. we will need to go extend the cable out ourself.. sad...
*
Toyota even more genius.. The Vios E spec came with the Pioneer FH-P6050UB which got USB & AUX input but that input at the back of the player actually. They didn't give any extention cable to let me plug in the USB!!
So I have to purchase the USB cable my own and bring it to acc shop to take out the HU and plug in the USB cable!
user posted image

Even Toyota SC also got no idea with the USB thingy.. sweat.gif
I ask them, they told me USB socket at the back of HU. Then I ask how to plug in, they reply: "I also don't know".. sweat.gif

I see... thanks sifus...

erm... previously what i learn from this thread, is that Stock Rims's quality is greater than after market rim. So, it also means that Stock Rim is heavier right ? If i use ULW (Ultra Light Weight) rims in KL, if *touch wood* kena lubang, will it affect/spoil the rim ? (u know la, KL punya road... doh.gif )

You can choose at least Taiwan made rims. Which is lighter compare with most local make rims.
Only those branded rims like ENKEI, SSR, ADVAN RACING, bla bla bla... really light!
But they cost a bomb! I've survey the ENKEI RPF1 at my place it's RM2900 for 15".
Try to use higher profile tyre if you scare hitting holes; and depends on what size are you going to choose.
