How did it not appear back in 2003? While googling, you can try limit news from 2003 to 2005. I can't found anything.

This one is well known. But Cesc, I don't know since when this 700k appear. If you've got the numbers from Arsenal.com around 2003/4, I'm ready to pull back my words.

Although I'd still question the morality of Arsenal, forcing us to refer to FIFA (referring to your news piece), I reckon Barca should have just move on. Its not like Cesc was the last one coming off the conveyor belt.

Check out here.

As we can see in the list, it didn't mentioned the nationality of the kids. So I'm not sure which list your 'source' had glanced through.

Yes there're some Cameroonian kids, brought over by Eto'o's program. I heard Barca also have a Greek kid. But mostly our youth setup are consisting players from Catalonia/Spain.

They do have good youngsters. But their developments is heavily dependent on Mou's willingness to provide them first team football. So far he has handed debut to several of them.

Not to say we should get it, no law says Arsenal was obliged to pay. The main point is the lack of respect shown by Arsenal when they poached Cesc away.

-----------------------------------------

We won 3-0 in San Moix. Pleased to see our team played well in absence of Xavi, Puyol, Alves and Valdes. But it was clear that if Alves is gonna leave, we are going to look for new RB this summer. Adriano was not hyperactive like Alves, while Montoya showed very little in 10 minutes he featured.

Erm...why is that?
Keita didn't take up Xavi's role. He played his usual box to box game.
Worked his ass off today. And nice assist but I think it was a bit offside as with Villa's goal.
Iniesta did to some extent which ruined his usual game.
I really dont like it when Iniesta has to take Xavi's role.
It just doesnt work.
Iniesta is Iniesta. He loves to take risks and make runs.
When Iniesta plays like Xavi we really miss out a lot on that
and coupled with the absence of Alves bombing down the right, we really suffer.

Loved the introduction of Affelay and Montoya.
Affelay made good use of his limited minutes!

What pissed me off was when Pep casually asked Messi if he wanted to be substituted.
What the hell??!! You are the coach. Its your decision.
The next time Messi get's hacked and gets injured, the blame is on you!

No he doesnt want to leave.
but he just wants more money.
There is a 1 million gap between his demands and Barca's offer.
I just think it's plain silly.
He is worth every cent of that extra 1million.
Barca wants to categorize him as as a defender so his pay should be in a defenders bracket.
But that is absurd.
He made more passes in the opposition half than C.Ronaldo!
That alone tells you how important he is.
Priceless

ANd it doesnt help that Man City offered him a hell lot more Arab money.
Hopefully he wont take the Yaya route

Great comment (as usual wink.gif) by Pep:

Those that didn’t get to play have to endure, of course, but they know their responsibility, and that we have all the confidence in them. I try to make them understand that it is necessary for them to train hard, and that there will always be opportunities for them, but if everyone behaves like Keita everything will be easier. Today, along with Andres, it was Keita who won us the match, and they played a superb game. He’s always there when we need him, and that’s why I’m happy for him.

been reading few pages and i dont know why some think that barca didnt try hard enough to keep cesc, they did everything they possibly could in legal ways other than handcuff him and lock down his parents inside dungeon, if these were tried i guess we wont be seeing any forumers here arguing about the efforts that been made..

Guys, seriously, enough about cesc man. He has gone so just accept that. He made a choice when he was younger, and nobody knows if he's regretting it now, tho i highly doubt so.
Give due credit and respect to arsenal as well, tho they had just done almost the same when jon miguel toral harper just went away. doh.gif
I guess this is football, it is never fair.

Whether or not it was a legal approach, i'm sure he's now happy at arsenal. Or else, he would have requested a transfer switch earlier.

Can you access myp2p.eu ??

btw, we grind a win out today.
Mascherano was, as always, almost useless, esp offensively. Adriano keeps throwing chances away, but he atoned with a nice assist.
los che deserved a point for their effort tho. All in all, good win and 10 points lead. thats a reason to smile.

If you guys watched the match, is there something on btw villa and messi? They sorta like had some sorta spat. Even when villa was right next to messi, opened, messi saw him but still opted to go alone.
well..I surely hope not. King pep wouldn't allow that i guess.

good God.
please download the match and watch it again.please.
Masch was terrific. he was stealing balls after balls.
dont tell me you didnt see that?
we really needed both Masch and Busi in the line-up tonight.
as you noticed, Valencia's tactics were to pressure us like mad in the first part of the match so we needed 2 strong DM's to with hold the attacks.
like commentator said, "how long can Valencia hold on to this tactic before they get tired".
so in the 2nd half, out goes Masch cause we needed to attack after Pep sees that they dont have it in them(Valencia) anymore.
so after weathering the storm, in comes Pedro to create havoc and run up against the tired legs.

and how can you say that adriano was useless? throwing chances away?
he created a lot of danger on the left flank. he was alves of the left flank today.
attacking and defending non stop.
you need to appreciate our players more.

no, i dont think that there is anything wrong between the two of them(messi and villa).
although he could have easily given villa two tap-ins but messi wanted to fool the goal keeper by going himself.
and you know, most of messi's goals are potential contenders for goal of the years.
he probably just wanted to add another one.
it wouldve been a beauty, the chip over the goal keeper. but it was too close to the goal unfortunately.
giving the ball hardly enough space to drop.

but yeah, it couldve costed us the match if he didnt make up for it later on.

so you think that Masch was as always useless....
name me 5 players who were able to come to Barca and slot in almost naturally.
Alves is probably the best.
you know, playing at DM for Barca is very demanding.
since we play very high up the pitch, we need someone like Busi or Masch to stop the counters, not some big guy with flying tackles who just tackles and shoots the ball away.
and besides that, the person must be able to pass the ball well.
dont think that because he came from an EPL team that he doesn't know how to pass.
he is above average. watch argentina matches.
man....he gave so many good performances since he came in.
i find it really disturbing that you call him useless.
he couldve easily be a starter for our club if it wasnt for the best DM, Busi.

btw, you said especially offensively..
what is his position again??
right......
