No. But the 4GB RAM that u added will not be under warranty from Acer.

Ok total noob here.Just receive my acer 5750G today and was wondering how to partition the HD.Any sifu wants to contribute will be appreciated

Open diskmgmt.msc, right click the partition. shrink volume, then create new partition out of the free space..

eh how much did you buy it? My friend bought it for rm2749 in a retail shop! so cheap already the price

and u just received ur laptop? i think the first thing you have to do is to PLAY GAMES AND ENJOY FIRST....other stuffs worry later biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

hey lee_what, juz asking how much it cost to replace a smashed 5750g screen and does it cover warranty if go to acer ? both in lowyat and acer, since u gt exp..

If based on shop around me, it would cost RM500..
As for Acer, not sure, can only test...

Hi,guys.Just bought my 5750G after waiting three weeks for a refund.Got a problem though,my laptop cant detect the wifi in my house .I've already turned on the wifi and other connections did show up except for my wifi connections.Any ideas what is wrong guys? Note: when i connected the laptop to the modem/router using LAN it the internet works just fine.Please help me out sifus

Even if the notebook is beside the router, also cannot detect ?

my bro put lappie on table then trip wire n lappie smashed screen down to floor..(Tiles)
thx goodness itz toshiba HDD.. soo no probs juz screen crash 3 piece, back panels chip n broke..

Check if the WLAN Autoconfig is started.
Fn + F3, already, right ?

Do you have other computer? Can they detect the wifi on your house ?

emm..not at this moment.But i did try my friend's lappy bout a week ago and it detects the network just fine
