Halo to all sifus here,
Until today, i still saw some people are doubt with warranty extend including myself. Is there any way to check whether my car is under 5 years warranty? When I bought my car, SA promised to have 5 years warranty but do we have any documents to show that our car is under the scheme? I can't check with my SA as he has resigned already.

call naza HQ and give them your car number - 03-26177666. I called them last week they told me that they will send a certificate or some sort of document in 2-3 months time to our address on the warranty.

hmm..i think this question has been asked many times. i cant answer the figure right now or how good or bad it is, but i can tell u that it is definitely not as good as toyota and honda cars resale value, but if you are indeed very worried about resale value, i really do NOT suggest you to buy this car. when i bought this car, I wanted a car that is value for money, spacious and well designed with lots of goodies to boot. You cannot get a car at this price with the kind of features it is offering at all. No way. Not just referring to the electronic goodies but the safety features too like ABS, EBD, CBC, BA.

i understand that as consumers we want the BEST of everything - nice looking car, fun to drive, good resale value, easy to get spare parts, good after sales service, value for money and the works. However, I can tell u that there is NO car in the world right now that has ALL of this. Most yes but not all. Same goes with the forte. You win some, you lose some. For me, I love and enjoy my ride everyday, can you say the same in a vios ? Perhaps not. So isn't that...priceless? The sheer joy of driving this car BEATS EVERY SINGLE NOTION on resale value and whatnot. That's why we bought this great car that was brought to you by KIA.

a friend said for FL will be cost a bit more.. dunno what other maintenance that the need to be done..

Well..this table is the latest one since i just got this new info. Only updating on Forte 1.6 (fully syn oil). Credits to bro Taipan, Mr. Arul of KIA Selayang Service Centre & an anonymous LYN member for providing me the info



Seems like there are only about RM2xx increase in maintenance cost for Forte 1.6 (fully syn oil) for 5 years duration. I noticed it is due to an additional item (cabin air filter if i'm not mistaken) been replace for every 30k km of service.
