sallehsi : i m planning 2 paint my car to black....problem is....not enough money 2 do it...yet under warranty, better dun repaint the car yet..
well, even i put up the photos at fb america KIA tuning page, they really love it too....simple mod....but y is it sooo attractive?? i juz wan make my ride looks like a devil(fierce/aggressive  look)

Black can be elegant but at the same time it's really painful to keep it clean.. Took my car for Sierra glow n apparently the front (car bonnet) part of my car has some small paint chip due to small stones hitting it (cyberjaya has tons of them! U can hear the sound of those stones hitting the car..) n it's quite obvious now... ;-( sakit hati man..

Looked at my friend's silver - had the same paint chip but very hard to spot it..

Still wanna repaint to black? :-P

This I cannot 100% agree with you.... Agree 50%.... Your statement is right only when the paint work are done properly and the quality of the clear coat are the better type. It will be wrong when the paint work done incorrectly and using cheap clear coat.

I would recommend Aguard .. there's a package for Forte member , and most of us have installed and been satisfied with it ... check out the thread in myforte for further details.

hi all,

anyone experience smoky smell in the forte cabin after quick acceleration? it seems like its coming from the air con vents.

normally happens when i press on the gas pedal aggressively. does not happen in normal sedate driving.

Dear Fortezens.. can you tell me whether you have been facing issues with the:
1) catalytic converter
2) when using the push start button sometimes

My friend who is working as a repairman in Naza/Kia service centre tells me that these two are the common issues with Forte at the moment.

To tell you the truth, I seriously don't care much about it. Every car may have its own issues. On top of that, Forte comes with a 5 years unlimited mileage warranty right?

Just interested in knowing whether whatever he said is true.
