i wish to upgrade my current forte by putting in 6spd 2.4L engine(if possible to import)...
problem is, my current job(for 3 tension years), can i really tahan the work anymore.....
coz my car installment, is base on my salary...

i still think this car is better than civic 2.0

Loan RM70k  Period : 5 years

Maybank : 2.88%
Public : 2.73%
Affin : 2.68%

Finally I settled with Affin with 2.65% (nego)

you can google but i did the calculation for u already:

5 years = RM 919
7 years = RM 687
9 years = RM 558

my suggestion go for 7 years. 5 is too much for you to handle and 9 is too long. Up 2 u dude

But for me, the car only need to protect me and my loved one.

Frankly, I think Forte is a value buy considering all the specs, gadgets and functions

But this only highlights how overpriced other cars are in M'sia, particularly B segments such as City/Vios/Fiesta/Latio, and we don't even need to talk about the other C segments, let alone European makes.

who told you the maintenance for Pug 308 is high...

So far after 50k+ 2 years of owning

2.5k 1st inspection FOC
10k service - RM260 (Free labour)
20k service - RM400 (using Petronas Full Sync - this is expensive)
30k service - RM670 (using Amsoil Full Sync + change ATF oil around RM300 (is my own choice to change at this stage, as per manual you only need to change at 60k, but i choose to change at 30k for better protection to my gear box, i might do the same for my wife's new forte 2.0)
40k service - RM1000 (using Amsoil Full Sync + break oil change + iridium denso RM170 + K&N Filter RM240) if my choice to upgrade the K&N filter as well
50k service - RM370 (using Amsoil Full Sync)

if you see my figure and compare the chart in the 1st page, is almost the same. except i change the ATF on 30k and upgrade the spark plug and  k&n filter on 40k instead of using the stock.

I would recommend Aguard .. there's a package for Forte member , and most of us have installed and been satisfied with it ... check out the thread in myforte for further details.
