Or, if you've the Lion upgrade from your other Mac, you could create your own recovery usbdrive yourself and don't need the internet recovery. Shouldn't they do what others have been doing? A hidden recovery partition??? Surely nobody will care missing the 4GB disk space for it..

Didn't realise they were in retail outlets already. I called Machines last week and they told me the new Air's would only be in this week sometime. They couldnt even confirm the day.

i would love to know the heat for mbp 13, 15 and also the mba 13....basically i heard that the 15inch mbp model seems to be much cooler then the mbp 13inch...as for the mba 13inch i have no idea abt the temp especially the new 2011 models...anyone can give me some feedback for this 3 model? would be nice if these numbers are from some mild gaming experience such as world of warcraft

I do wonder sometimes which shop get what stock and how. Some of the places I checked prior to my trip on Saturday doesn't have a clue when the new Air will be coming (All It, SengQ, Cycom, CZone), whilst apple branded stores have it, but you have to ask (MacStudio)

Then again, it seemed all their focus is on iPad these days.

Um, this might sound like a stupid question, but where the hell are the fan vents on a 2011 MacBook Pro? And there doesn't seem to be a battery that is easily removed externally.

Alright, I've keyed in and got one message written "Please validate your purchase date" then I login to my Apple ID..then I selected by purchase date but then they say can't validate unless got proof of purchase...so how?

Any nice music(mp3) player for my MacBook Pro besides using iTunes?? smtg like winamp got?? and also i wanna ask...when i open my music library at iTunes...there got one column where i need to check/uncheck...whats the boxes for???

i got two questions...

1. any way i can make the iTunes not to check the box when i play it in my mbp?? cause i duan it to be sync into my iPad

2. any other good music player for mac?? smug like winamp for window

So one more last question, it is perfectly alright for me to use my MBP while it is charging right?? And even it reaches 100% already can I don't plug out the Power Adapter but continue to use(With the power comes from plug, not battery) ?

Conclusion, if you don't want to buy ACPP, you need to follow the recommended way to prolong the battery live. However, if you've ACPP, by all mean plug it in 24/7 to reduce the charge cycles

Yes.. it does .. been there .. done that.. My old end-2006 MBP consumed 4 batteries for the past 5 years .. why? Because I had it 24/7 plugged to the wall. Luckily I bought it under 3-yr UK educational warranty, so all the replacements were free.

Bought the new air, anyone knows any other compatible external drive besides the superdrive?
