any of your mbp 13" battery really lasting 7 hours? mine can last only about 4 hours

mine cant . even browsing with wifi backlit keyboard off brightness set to 4

wondering is it necessary to update snow leopard /lion version
pls tell me the "proper way" to obtain the OS too

nope nothing at all . only safari running with 1-2 tabs on

cycles at 39 now . and health at 89% . which is 5179mAh

yeah i already did . already sent to machines they said its normal 
maybe ill try and calibrate it once again and see how it goes

honestly i dunno how to complete de calibration..  
once my power charger kong for 2 weeks RMA, was thinking way better time to calibrate it
exhaust de batt on day 1...den can't on dy...but on day 14/15 when charger back, viola i put de charge on system back to the state like day 1 aka suspend mode her...i dunno      or   

how did you manage to get both HDD and SSD installed at same time? would it affect the system performance?

hahaha but wouldnt they check or something? but really my battery doesnt really last long im using 3bars brightness and no backlight kb . and just a couple of tabs and nothing else i would last at most 4 hours

1333mhz should work (will auto-underclock) but if can get 1066mhz better lah. i'll recommend corsiar or mushkin

Im currently using the lion on my mbp 13' i5 . Surprisingly it still functions at almost the same speed running the previous os . just slightly slow .

Any one more , i read is some people facing their battery dropping fast . Mine seems pretty smooth actually .

I think investing to SSD much wiser lor.

yeap OWC is the only one within that price range who would guarantee it'll work on a mac. those 'mac-compatible' ones like kingston KTA are pretty expensive, last i checked

agreed. the i5 is really powerful already, plus can get it much earlier compared to CTO i7 one
well last time i bootcamp win7 ultimate 64-bit, installed drivers, already took about 14gb (i partitioned only 15gb hahaha need to redo). i would assume home basic would use less. better yet, just get the 32-bit version if u dun need 64-bit, it takes a lot less space

128gb should be fine
