Just bought my MBP 13" i5 yesterday. I did charge last night about 8-10 hours. For now, at the top bar, the battery duration vary from 4-7 hours in 10 minutes.

Is this normal for new MBP? Maybe need several charge cycle to make it accurate?

Appreciate it if somebody clarify me on the difference of Macbook US set vs Malaysia set.

This is my common finding.

Both are covered by international warranty (provided buy from authorized shop/trusted people)
Almost same hardware/cable/accesories.

Do tell me if any pro and con buying either one.

P/S: Seeing some forumer sell Macbook i3 model for RM 3150. (Retail Malaysia is RM 3699). Very mouth watering

if u find properly, u can even get a malaysia set for around the price u mention 

encoding video with ffmpeg will be a challenge.....it took almost half a day to encode avatar dvd rip into my h264 + aac video compatible for mobile phone

hi all.. my MBP is having the problem of cannot sleep when i put in into sleep.. it will auto wake up.. and worst.. sometimes after it sleeps.. it will not wake up and i need to reset it..

i ask in Switch.. they told me because i m using firefox and with some vimeo or youtube turned on..

any of you guys face this problem?

I went to the Machines office at Northpoint
It was RAM problem but need to leave my laptop there for 2 days to do hardware test
but I need to use my laptop daily for school works so that I can't leave it there
and also quite travel to MidValley just to collect and go back there few days later.
At first they insist leaving my laptop there
Then I told them just replace the RAM for me I will go back to do the hardware test next time.
So now Im able ti online with my laptop!

Yeah but need to wait for the stock.
They did a simple test which took about 30 mins then proven to be RAM problem
The RAM has to be shipped from SG so as you mentioned took about 5 days.

After taken out one of the RAM my Chrome don't crash! =D

i mean if compare between quad and duo? is it duo enough the power for programming?

guys do u think i can get a replacement for my mbp? i just bought it these past few days and i just recently downloaded coconut battery and saw this . it is 8 weeks old and the battery health is like 95%

how do they change the batt? does it take a long time? btw my batt was 98 when i checked istat nano . but after i checked on coconut battery it was 95

just bought macbook pro 15 i7 2.0ghz. the best laptop i have

my macbook temp is about 60-65c (2000rpm) under normal use like browsing, itunes and chatting. is it normal?

guys.. referring to my case last time (unable to put my MBP to sleep).. now i am facing this problem again.. after i call Apple Care, this is the solution:

1) i need to do a reset (shut down, then press shift+ctrl+opt+power) when i face this problem..

2) he recommended me to restart my mac at least once a week..

so i would like to ask u guys... how often you guys restart your mac? with your answer, i hope to know how heavy is your usage too

Woahhh.......I just tried out a 15" MBP with the matte screen. Blew my mind away. Just can't imagine how anybody could use the glossy screen after that. Next release, MBP it shall be!
