i only got the 16-85 plus my D90 ... wonder if its standard price or depends on the range of the lens & body ???

if i swap my 16-85 for the 17-55 i think to service the 17-55 would be more expensive ...

Some info gathered here. Nikon Service Centre @ Berjaya Times Square doesn't provide lens calibration service. Gotta go to Nikon Service Centre @ Petaling Jaya to do so.

Initially sent for zoom ring rubber replacement and ask them to check the focusing but turns out there's a problem with 3rd and 4th element so need to be replaced

no wonder so expensive ... i was shocked at the price just now ...

no officially confirmed spec yet. but likely come with sandy bridge plus other new features like:
- no more white MacBook (Apple goes back to two lines of 13" inchers)
- 16 GB SSD mSATA drives on all models to store the system
- Core i3 and third USB port on the 13" model
- Matte screen option on the higher-end 13"
- Option to replace the SuperDrive with a SSD on the 15 and 17" models
- HD screens on all models : 1440x900 on the 13", 1680x1050 on the 15"
- 200 to 300 grams lighter : 1.8 kg for the 13", 2.3 kg for the 15", 2.65 kg for the 17"
- Better battery life : 12 hours on the 13", 10 hours on the 15"
- 8 GB of RAM on the 17"

I've asked before for 18-105mm in 2 different days, one guy told me RM6x, the other guy told me RM8x. Don't know which is real...
