How u update to 2.3.4?

ya br0, h0w t0 update.???

To all the senior and those who know a lot more than me...I am a newbie in touchscreen phone...I had bought an AP Xperia Neo 3 weeks ago...However, i am facing problem with the software update...nw still using 3.0.1.A.0.145...Everytime i try to update, it will say that my Xperia Neo had latest software...How can i get the software update??? Is it due to my Xperia Neo is AP handset and the original one do not land in Malaysia
??? Besides, if i buy an AP SE handset, can i still have software update???

Added on October 1, 2011, 5:17 pmBuying AP set is still eligible for the software update, as your AP set is original set from other country. If you don't get the update, that is because the region of your phone is still not updated to the latest firmware. It would take some time but if you can not wait then you can try the link I gave above. NOTE: It had its risk in getting firmware and the installation of it is not for amateur.

Guys what is your setting for the camera ?

and do you have some sample pictures ? I uploaded mine on facebook , it looks good on the phone but when it is on pc kinda disappointing :/

my setting -

capturing mode normal
resolution 16:9 6MP
image stabiliser ON
focus mode - multi
flash off, usually, i let the exmor sensor do the job
scenes, day time i mostly use landscape/or beach/snow
nighttime, i always use night scene, whether its portrait or not

Hahaha just bought Neo few days ago ... just repaired it yesterday and reinstall fresh!

still no news bout when will Xperia Pro be released in MY eh =="

how much u guys rate from 1 - 10 (8megapix range) for Xperia Neo's camera

I think the lense quality is very good but jpeg compression a bit off. I would say 7/10 personally.

I've updated my neo with 2.3.4. feels,more responsive too. waiting for official update from our region

bro.. I oso bought an AP set.. same like Dena's Neo with 3.0.1.A.0.145.

so meaning our country hasn't update Neo to latest firmware right?

the link you just showed is to update FTF to 2.3.4 and then root with Doomlord method?

can I just flashtool it WITHOUT Doomlord method? so that my Neo stays STOCK AND LOCKED Bootloader?

seem a bit smoother.. but Power Switch is GONE!!

what do you mean gone? which power switch? Looks ok with mine so far .. nothing missing

just bought xperia pro :lovely:
but in dire need of screen protector and casing / skin.
my fingers are too sweaty, they make pro's screen looks used n dirty

uhm for the 2.3.4. update, i just let my phone do it for me automatically, is that ok?

SEX Pro would be great to have.

when I have a thought about this phone to have a sliding keyboard meaning it is harder to design a protective case for it; to cover the screen and the sliding keyboard. I prefer a flip leather case to protect it from fall or pressure AND protect the screen.

Just my personal opinion and I hope I am not 100% correct

For the GB 2.3.4, wait for the official announcement of it to safely update it but you can't do it automatically.

Would you mind to give more feedback regarding that phone?

after update I still maintain my Timescape UI so I still have it. so u mean ur backlight power switch?

3d camera is working great after I tested it after the update
