They tuned it for me already.. RM1599. I complained and i mentioned i use Ron97 instead of 95 (Then he said, yalo, i tuned for you that time you were on Ron95, so you use back Ron95 your car will powerful already).. Hmm got such thing? Lol.. I played with my friend's civic i was on 97.. So i will try 95 and see how.

My RPM when idle is below 1k, before tune, is above 1.1 to 1.2k. Ya more responsive.. Maybe tune until my engine more responsive instead of giving me hp? Lol sigh.

Is the piggyback capable of adjusting ignition timing? If it does, them its possible that using different ron level will effect the performance.

About the hp, there's a saying ' horse power sells cars, torque wins races'. nod.gif

Not so sure, should be 95 can use 95 and 97 or so. Ask pro.
Tune with dyno or not?

BTW EMS Pro neo can adjust ignition timing?

Conti SportContact-1... somehow I got the feeling it performed slightly under par compare to Silverstone Kruizer NS700 (yes, I dont know it doesn't make sense... I'm still scratching my head)... but since I used different wheels previously, it might be the cause too... but this rubber does screeching more often in low grip surface compare to Silverstone Kruizer NS700...

Actually, that price is for year 2008 tyre, stock clearence. But when they search the stock, only end of 2009 (5009) tires available. so they just bocce me that tires with the same price.

If it been tuned using RON 95, then you only can fully max the performance with only RON 95. If you use ron 97, you will facing power lost. Both fuel characteristic is different.

It doesn't like stock ecu which have the feature called "self learning" which can learn and adjust it by itself.

For piggyback or standalone, inside is empty. It only set or tuned by the tuner itself. It doesn't have self learning feature. That why if tuned using RON 95, u must use ron 95. If using ron 97 then it will facing power lost or even some pinging.

Aiyoh....I seriously think ur expecting too much.

From yr list of mods, i see only the ecu n breathing system would release some power...the rest not really...even then oso probably about 5-10hp...15-20 if yer lucky....n the ecu oso only if tuned properly

Engine internal oso never touch...no cams...no pistons...stock tb, stock manifold....no PnP etc etc...

Just coz u spent 6k doesnt mean ull get a huge power jump...it still depends on what u spend it on...plus, NA engines doesnt gain power that easily

N engine oil is NOT a mod...thats maintenance.

actually, somehow I think 6k for what he did kinda expensive...

but still i really want to see the dyno first and compare it with other's dyno... i thought sphiroth spent around 3k only and the result's already satisfying???

I see...but ok la..ps3 tu. Ps3 actually are in my wish list but when asking the price is rm4xx worr. rclxub.gif out of budget. Nexen n8000 also in my eye, but no 205/50/16 size.

Btw how does it feel? The AA traction in wet? Different right?

actually, i beg to differ... depending on the usage, I'd say Silverstone is kinda good...

yes, it might not be as good as Michelin PS3... but for its price, i should say Silverstone Kruizer is the best on its level... heck, I played on Karak with just Kruizer NS500 and I'm already impressed... as per in wet, no matter what tyre I use I dont think I'll be brave enough... I guess the trauma of last accident in wet still haunting me... but Kruizer NS500 did great on 90km/h - 100km/h on wet...

for normal street use, I'd say it is good enough... of course for better traction and higher performance, you need to spend more and up another level of products...

anybody can give other review for ContiSportContact-1??? i'm looking for an argument that I'm having now and proving it's my wheel size (changing from 195/55/15 to 195/50/16) that cause the grip issue that I'm having??? heck, I understeered at 20km/h...... shocking.gif (of course on low grip concrete wet surface...)

Just re-check my tyre and notice that a pair is actually 2010 tyres. But although its a good tyres, the price is really expensive. I wouldn't even considered this tyre before being offered the rm330 price.

About the upgrade/modding, imo its a hit and miss, try and error. If lucky all those thing work in 'hormony'. And yes, don't put expectation too high since modding na car is expensive for what we get. If really want power, bot your ride. Its the best value for money upgrade.

iirc my previous contisportcontct 1 ( 195/50/16), i cant see any tyre rating for traction, i can only see temperature & threadwear rating only, so that would explain the lack of grip especially on wet road, and in malaysia this tyre are made by the same company that made sime tyres, it might as well a re-branded sime tyre whistling.gif but the only plus thing for me about this tyres is this tyre sidewall is hard, so it kinda give confident to me when cornering..
