QUOTE(JeffreyYap @ Mar 3 2011, 12:06 AM) eh guys.. i spent about 6k modify.. but the speed still same... Just want to ask you guys, after you modify one thing, our brain will tell us, wow my car more responsive than before.. same goes to me lol but your mod also doesnt increase that much.My friend and i.. sometime have a short drag race from 0 to 140. Before and after modify, we on pair as usual. So i want to know right, you guys after modify, got like try with your friend's car to know the result instead of judge it by your own? 6k: ECU Lighten crank pulley, Full exhaust (Not cap ayam wan u know lol), Fuel rail Fuel press regulator Carbon fiber intake Chemlube fully syn 10 30 etc.. Many right.. but still on pair with my friend's civic.. this shocked me.. My friend said.. Friend, i never modify anything before.. LoL. Civic VTEC 1.7 Horsepower 129. ECU - 0 - 15 hp depending on tuner and ecu. LCP - 1-2hp? Exhaust - 5-8hp Fuel rail - none Fuel Press regulator - none Carbon fiber intake - 1-2hp? total - 10hp? haha so 125hp on paper + 10hp on paper = 135hp? maybe? lol . WHP = unknown. maybe 110? 120? 12hp is too little, it wont be as good as BOT kit. Dunno y u spend 6k on that, better go for BOT if u willing to spend 6k, BOT only cost like 6.5-8k, since ur warranty already invalid coz u already change to LCP + etc. If u want to stay NA, maybe u can try hi-cam. all from my noob experience, better ask someone pro |

QUOTE(JeffreyYap @ Mar 4 2011, 10:48 PM) They tuned it for me already.. RM1599. I complained and i mentioned i use Ron97 instead of 95 (Then he said, yalo, i tuned for you that time you were on Ron95, so you use back Ron95 your car will powerful already).. Hmm got such thing? Lol.. I played with my friend's civic i was on 97.. So i will try 95 and see how. Not so sure, should be 95 can use 95 and 97 or so. Ask pro.My RPM when idle is below 1k, before tune, is above 1.1 to 1.2k. Ya more responsive.. Maybe tune until my engine more responsive instead of giving me hp? Lol sigh. Tune with dyno or not? BTW EMS Pro neo can adjust ignition timing? This post has been edited by archonixm: Mar 5 2011, 01:18 AM |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Mar 5 2011, 07:53 PM) Imo, its somehow felt it cannot be trusted. How can you gain power but at the same time save so much fuel? If want the horse to run fast, you need to feed it grass right? From Millennium Motorsports. Hmm. Include dyno sheet too Added on March 5, 2011, 7:55 pm How can 7 year loans pay less than 9 years loan monthly? Haha wait some ppl at zth become guinea pig first... |

QUOTE(mrl @ Mar 6 2011, 01:08 PM) you get typo in here or typo in before???????? His mileage is only 6k i think, am i rite jeffrey? That's y the fc is not good. BTW mine also is 6.9l/100km, my mileage is only 8k. My fc is also suck haha. That also i havent rev , if rev can reach higher, and iirc that meter not accurate, 7.9/100km is like 9/100kmyes, i know it save your fuel... that's not my point... but RM45 for 160km seems to be overkill to me even with redlining everyday... i dont know, it might be just me... 6.75km/l is your reading... i'm taking before ECU upgrade because it is your base... if you got problem with the starting point, that might explain why you didn't get the satisfaction with 6k mods... still I think a dyno should show you the reason clearer... QUOTE(TripleJ104 @ Mar 11 2011, 02:05 PM) What warranty, ask him to give black & white warranty sign and duty stamp then i will believe, and summore state clearly the condition. Xenon motorsport, u need ECU la, plus ECU = near 10k.with 10k u better off with GSR , can boost 1.0 - 1.5 bar, u dont need to worry bout block, piston, crankshaft, really worth it and its 1.8. There's no replacement for displacement. Even with the hassle of JPJ also make it worth the effort. QUOTE(sphiroth @ Mar 11 2011, 04:29 PM) 7k doesn't include ecu. Well then, if u want to install dont forget to ask him for black & white regarding warranty issues later. With the government ban on halfcut parts starting this year, good luck on finding spare parts for transplanted gsr. For me, bot is better since I know my own engine condition. And if I planned to sell my car, can always take the bot out. Transplanted car are harder to sell except if you manage to find buyer yourself. Added on March 11, 2011, 4:31 pmP/s: I like to mod, and personally I think transplant is kinda ' cheating' to obtain power since its not the original engine. |

QUOTE(pAdiLaDEn @ Mar 11 2011, 08:46 PM) Yup, shazmn doesnt really fond of him, and popular in own forum is not really credible, Coz u can mod your own forum, u can delete and mod any complaints from user. Well, but alot of user in the forum really puji him, dunno which 1 to believe already. Anyway his BOT need management, so of course with good tuning can almost guarantee no blowup engine unless 1.5 bar or something. This post has been edited by archonixm: Mar 12 2011, 10:43 AM |
