Just come back from outstation. I had a fully review of my adjustable now.

Adjustable not suitable for long driving + highway using during speeding. The car will bounce alot and need more effort to control. While comfort, totally gone.

Adjustable is prefect playing corner. Going to Gepai climbing the narrow hill. Very happy with the handling.

So at the end, I thinking to let go my adjustable. sweat.gif

ah, just realize that you are using 6k/4k.
maybe is it because due to certain highway roads is uneven cause your car bounce a lot?  hmm.gif

and i also realize your camber setting is too negative...
i remember the guy who do the alignment for me said that rear too negative setting will cause uncomfortable driving in highway...  hmm.gif

aisek,
my goal this year is to change adjustable leh...  sweat.gif

last time i only borrow you shoulder, no advise  laugh.gif

I had no problem with the negative setting. Cause it only gave me some noise but still tolerate. Only the adjustable gave me problem. Even in MEX highway, after speeding at 140kmh, the car bounce and go like a frog. Exactly like sitting horse. sweat.gif

*
UGPM too.

Feedback: It extremely fun on corner or genting. You will understand what mean adjustable and less bodyroll. Suck to me on crushing highway (depend on road condition). Car bounce and bumpy. I can't drive more than 160km/h with adjustable while stock absorber, selamba hit 180kmh without stress.. If at MEX highway, macam naik kuda all the way from KESAS to Kampung Pandan.

yup current mileage 82K. With the same Ramcar battery. Hope can last another 6 months.
Thought last year will kong. But so far so good. But realistically I need to find replacement. Not because my battery is dead. It's still seems ok up till yesterday.
AAM battery I reject. So there's century battery. Any other battery out there guys?
*
Ramcar battery is quite good also. I have 1 ramcar around 3 years which I used for attending break down. Only charge once for two weak. Until now, It still can start a car which battery totally flat. icon_rolleyes.gif

Another reason is depend on luck. Some customer ramcar battery dead after 1 year while some can last to 2 years. For me, I still prefer yokohama wet cell as it always can last me for 3 years while the price I get is cheaper compare with ramcar, century or GP.

ALso the name Yokohoma it's nicer compared to others isn't. Their calender also quite nice tongue.gif
Hope your new battery last longer this time. 1 tahun 1 biji bnyk susah jugak woo.
Changed to what battery eh? It died at 80K or you just changed it?

I think I choose Yokohama since Ramcar price to high.

Make sure it not a recon yokohama. Alot recon yokohama in the market now.

Depend on how the SC solve it for you. If i do it, i make sure it never drop it anymore. I done this on my waja windows as well once i get the car. Till now, it didn't drop before. It a simple and easy way to secure the windows.

I had no doubt to overtake a first model campro. But once in top speed, both car seem having same output on top speed. What the purpose of having higher horsepower compare with normal campro since the top speed output is the same? Many possibilities to cause this as I assume.

Just now was on MEX testing with my friend satria neo 1.6 campro first edition stock standard. No problem by overtaking him. Once 150kmh above, he getting near me and once 180kmh can't overtake him anymore. With this testing session, i getting started to love my adjustable. thumbup.gif but dissapointed with my campro cps shakehead.gif shakehead.gif.

Gonna test again by removing my woofer box and my tool box. Both this item cause 10-15kg. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

soo xjadi la juaii itu adjustable? laugh.gif
*
CPS climb genting not really that nice as low torque is poor ler. I naik genting use my kelisa lagi nice. rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

On CNY trip, i kena tailgate by golf gti also. I can't even follow back. Surrender straight away. From no where, appear alfa romeo 147 coupe tailgating the GTi once the gti pass by me. Now I understand what is italian car. GTi can't even follow back the Alfa. Haha..

Adjustable still wanna let go as now i waiting to test another setup from EA. icon_rolleyes.gif

Isn't cps final drive is more towards acceleration than top speed? that's why older campro have better top speed since their fd is smaller.
*
Yes. But the funniest this is, proton claimed that cps had better top speed than campro. sweat.gif I drove a persona nearly hit 200kmh before while waja, 195kmh is already max which i had tried.

Yeah.. Stop wasting money on modding. Haha. Safe the mod money and invest on other car. laugh.gif

QUOTE(omara86 @ Feb 23 2011, 07:52 AM)
higher hp is to accelerate to higher rpm quickly, u accelerate faster than the lower hp engine... but as for top speed, it's different... it's the gear ratio playing an important role for it... both engine will go to the same top speed, only matter is how long to reach it...

to improve ur top speed, change ur final drive.. but if u're running a stock engine, it's not gonna be good also... ur car will reach the top speed slower than b4 bcoz the acceleration power is still the same...

example:

waja cps stock engine
- 125bhp (on flywheel), around 110whp (on wheel)
- max speed around 200km/h
- 0 - 200km/h around 50 secs
- stock gear box with stock final drive

waja cps camproturbo
- 180whp (on wheel)
- max speed around 200km/h also
- 0 - 200km/h around 15 - 20 secs
- stock gear box with stock final drive

the time is juz an example, i dunno how long the car actually can get to top speed...
*
Yes.. Higher Hp mean better velocity. Which mean how fast it can achieve the certain speed.

since there is no comfort on the adjustable, anyone have try sport suspension (SA series from GAB as example) before? how does its perform?

Of course got good suspension. Guan having a comfort setting yet won't lost to adjustable handling. That what I wanna try next if my adjustable got buyer.

Sorry been busy a bit & away from laptop these 2 days.

Doing a lot travel & 2 bad thing happen to me...

1. my right fog lamp broken..hit by rock flying from a jeep infront of me.
2. my passenger mirror stuck & 'tercabut' from bracket.

haihh..what a day.
anyway i already call the track manager & he said to rent a track for the whole day is about rm2000 for 10 cars. So it about rm200 per car. But if we only manage to get 5 or 6 car the price is still rm200 per car. So its about rm1000 - rm1200. If we manage to get 20 car we have only pay rm100 per car..the more we get more cheaper we pay. But the track will be crowded la..hehe. It just a small track anyway.

The track manager contact number is 0125877341 (peter) & on facebook can search his account name Peter Track. His profile pic is a guy smiling on bike.

Hmmm...if we gonna do this why not we invite group from waja thread, Gen2 thread, Neo thread & etc as well?..meramaikan majlis.  icon_rolleyes.gif

Expensive o. Last time I check, i come together with the signal. I try check again the price now. No need change aftermarket yellow foglamp. Just change the bulb into 3k. Then it become yellow foglamp.

PS3? RE001? Using Yoko A drive too. Totally regret. Will avoid yokohama tyres in the future. Is GSD3 available in size 195/55/15?
Tyre price is going up because of new tax? What new tax? Baju dalam tax is lowered why can't tyre tax.
*
I'm using yokohama since I got my car. I no regret at all. I'm using Yokohama S drive.

Just a guide for you all. You can always go Proton Edar Part centre to purchase spare part. It cost cheaper.
