if you're following TMO... I'm wondering if it has already been shared here... if it has, then sorry for this irrelevant post

btu battery life will greatly increase by reducing the VFS cache from 100 to a lower value. They are proposing it to be 10 at TMO and I'm currently testing it to see if it really gives 2-3x more battery life.

qtbatterywidget
mediaplayer(the default one)
4 QBW related to overclocking, 3 with clockspeeds and 1 for displaying the current clockspeed

EDIT: on top of that, is it realllly because of the widgets that cause hildon-home to crash? I mean... cause the widgets i've listed above, i've gotten quite dependent on it.. so it'll be nice if there were to be a workaround this issue

i noticed when I have application manager running checking or updating the packages,
that the N900 slows down to a crawl.. and i am just running app manager and a single browser.
my N900 is oc'ed to 900mhz, so this shouldnt be a problem?

is this normal? 

yeah, using FAPman.
but the lagginess is.. severe.
the speed returns to normal after the update.

I agree all the rotating will eat up the battery. Even i prefer portrait especially when I'm heavily browsing the internet... kinda TOO used to landscape actually...

... but I always like to have options.

But it doesnt rotate the homescreen or anything.. rats..

hi...i wanted to install nitdroid..
but when it came to this step...
"cd /home/user/mydocs"..it says can't cd to home/user/mydocs..why?

i did both.but still can't access..tensen3..

ok.done.now i've downloaded the nitdroid-installer_0.2.7_armel.deb to solve the ext3..

but now it says..

i think it'll just be a variant released in the US. I kinda feel that it would eventually make it to us but not after a looooong while. are you using the SGSII SEA? i plan on getting a hold of one because i'm too tempter by 2 things:

1. large gorgeous screen. mainly because i surf the net a lot. watch videos a lot, so a large screen and nice display really does appeal to me.
2. browser. i hate it that we can't spam windows like how i like to open 3-4 running windows like microb can, but the browser definitely loads like super fast based on the reviews i've seen online...

what's holding me back from making my n900 the 2nd phone are:

1. hardware keyboard - so important to me
2. i heard android doesn't multi task easily. i mean... switching through apps is important to me too.. but i saw the fluidity of the device, maybe that counters it somehow
