last time they said htc pyramid.but how come now known as htc sensation?
Pyramid is codename la. In hacking forums you'll see the HTC Sensation be referred to as the Pyramid, like how the Nexus One is referred to as Passion, Desire = Bravo, Desire HD = Ace and Desire Z = Vision.

^lol you'll be surprised at the amount of businessman being put off buying HTC androids just because they do not support 3G video call.
About camera, one can't know until the photos start rolling in. You never know, they might partner with some actual camera manufacturer for the camera module. hahaha

not sure about businessman(i only know they prefer iphone or BB)
from what i know, HTC is quite loyal to their parts manufacture..maybe they used the same camera module as well..lol
btw, i heard the bootloader is locked too...i tot hTC is very "open" in Android community :/

in the case of united states of america, i think it's more of a case of carriers trying to stop ppl from using tethering without paying additional charges.
I understand why they are locking the phone down so tightly. But wouldn't their phone be soooo much better if they invested the money used to invest in tightening the security, into finding ways to make the phone thinner or having more RAM or stuff?
excerpt from tech radar: " HTC Sense has been given a big overhaul on the Sensation. Sense 3.0 comes with a new 3D overlay when spinning through the home screens, a new lock display that allows you to drag applications to the bottom to open them instantly and a host of new visual widgets to play with.
Weighing in at 148g and packing that larger screen, rounded edges in a unibody design (which sees the antennas packed inside the batter cover) the HTC Sensation is designed to fit more easily in the hand than the likes of the Desire HD."
======================
one thing though...dunno about u guys , on DHD...its more prone to accidently touching the screen thus activating the GUIs....without the jacket
after having the jacket...the body is "wider" thus the hand touching the screen is reduced....
the edge of the phone and the screen is too close for comfort...
guys of DHD can give an input about this?

it's going to be very hard for the next iPhone to be impressive enough to be 'better' than the army of Androids announced this year.
1) 3D display. To put or not to put? 2) 3D camera. To put or not to put? 3) HDMI output 4) functional lockscreen 5) dual core 6) Dual LED flash
they dont have to. just give a bigger screen and the ifags are happy for another year. their consumers are different from android consumers, since we r only impressed with the specs and how it performs with the os most of the time.
