QUOTE(Guyver @ Feb 11 2011, 09:32 AM) Ever wonder why Bandai show pics of MG and PG when they are trying to sell a RG model?? Haven't bought a RG RX-78 or RG MS-06, who got, please give some comment. I can't read Japanese...but probably it's to tell ppl that u can expect articulation and details like these kits?

I do own both RGs from previous releases. And so far, the promotional pictures tell the truth about what of their capability and what,s not. We can look at MS-06 for examples, the promotional pics clearly shown that the kit cannot bend their body to the extend to do the kneeling pose just like MG. All I can say, MS06 is way better from the RX78-2 even both kits got same skirt problems.
I still don't think those Aile Strike's pics were taken from PG and MG, maybe we need someone who can read japs to translating it. Too bad my wife's at work, if not I could ask her to translate it for me.
Hope Strike will got better looks in RG treatment with more detailing parts. Just my two cents.

I really hope that's the RG pics too...and the captions are pointing out comparisons like...'Amazing posability! Just like MG!'; 'Obscenely overpriced; just like PG!'...lol...but even if those aren't the RG pics...they prob put them there for comparison...which means the RG will prob have the same degree of flexibility etc. What I'm curious about is...will they market it as just the Strike...or Aile-Strike, Launcher...etc? Will earlier HG strike packs be compatible with this?
And seeing as how they are doing popular gundams...will we have to wait long for an RG Unicorn...that can transform??? Jeng Jeng Jeng!!!

I just order both RG RX78-2 and Zaku. Still considering whether to order RG Aile Strike. But from the look of the preview on RG RX 78 and Zaku, they look great for lazy ppl like me who lazy to do painting, lining... yet still have great detail.

i do have RG RX-78-2.. it's very good kit if u treat ur kits as a.. model kit.. not a toy.. very detailed kit even without lining.. the stickers are really cool too.. only the ones at its back & the copper-chromes at its arm/leg joints tend to peel overtime..

The details on both kits are awesome. Not sure about others, but my RG Zaku's hand is better than RX's that always droppin off, and weapons he (Zaku) holds is firm and nice. The only problem for RG Zaku is his sideskirt. The only pose for my RG zaku is like this: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(james83 @ Feb 11 2011, 11:13 AM) i do have RG RX-78-2.. it's very good kit if u treat ur kits as a.. model kit.. not a toy.. very detailed kit even without lining.. the stickers are really cool too.. only the ones at its back & the copper-chromes at its arm/leg joints tend to peel overtime.. Agreed, it's a kit, not toys. Because I have much fun playing of RX-78-2 from SCM Banpresto. As for the chrome stickers, I just painted it with bronze color. Err, it's Aile Strike right? So i think the aile unit is provided as well.

My mum keeps telling not to play with kids toys since I'm in my 30s (just stepped into this realm today, ), I normally will reply her, "Models are not toys, kids can't really appreciate the stuff I bought!"

Yo, is Banpresto SCM gundam come with detail decals like RG? I am actually newbie in Gundam, used to collect a few MG and HG but stop it many years ago. I am buying RG because I like the size and detail.

I bet Robot Damashii version (beside the massive accessories given), can't do the pose like SCM does. If you like the decal-ed version, you should pick SHCM Pro version, or Robot damashii's and then put some waterslide decals for 1/144 on it.

Some of the parts are quite lose and the figure lacking detail. For a RM120++ figure I expect a bit more detail. Moreover, the size is smaller than HG series. Not even in scale with 1/144. Anyway, I think I will have a good time with RG series. hehe.

QUOTE(raxeus @ Feb 10 2011, 05:39 PM) Anyway, any nice MG models coming out soon?? Is MG Deathscythe Hell Custom good enough for you?
QUOTE(Guyver @ Feb 10 2011, 08:58 PM) Just wonder if GP01 is going to receive the V2.0 treatment, I wonder would GP02 and GP03 does? I don't think GP01 will receive a 2.0 upgrade, but if it does, GP01fb and GP02 might get it. GP03 is least likely among those.
QUOTE(Guyver @ Feb 10 2011, 08:58 PM) Anyhow, just wanna know anyone has "invested" in the recent PG Strike Freedom, I'm planning to get one, maybe mid of this year. For those who bought one, anything to share? Not that i have one, but the wings are using some breakthrough technology.
QUOTE(hyzam1212 @ Feb 10 2011, 09:23 PM) just curious, what MG goin to go out next after all the Endless Waltz lineup released? I heard V2 and OORaiser, is it true? My prediction:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Jan - MG ReZEL Commander Type Feb - MG Deathscythe Hell Custom Mar - MG ShenLong EW + MG Wing EW Apr - MG Delta Plus May - MG Heavy Arms EW Jun - MG GN-XIV Jul - MG Sandrock EW Aug - MG Sandrock Custom Sep - MG Geara Zulu or MG Qubeley Mass Production Type Oct - MG Heavy Arms Custom Nov - MG 00 Raiser or MG 00Q Full Saber Dec - PG Unicorn
QUOTE(reehdus @ Feb 11 2011, 08:59 AM) Lol...maybe I should've mentioned mine is the HG sinanju...and yeah...PC can't handle the weight...I've read though, putting on a coat of paint. superglue, cement or just anything u can enlarge the joint with will help You should try ngeekhiong's wood glue trick.
QUOTE(Guyver @ Feb 11 2011, 09:32 AM) Ever wonder why Bandai show pics of MG and PG when they are trying to sell a RG model?? Ever wonder why car expos are filled with gorgeous exhibition girls? Same reason as Bandai's.
QUOTE(takara @ Feb 11 2011, 09:49 AM) Hope Strike will got better looks in RG treatment with more detailing parts. Just my two cents. I don't think it'll look like the PG. It'll be more anime-like.
QUOTE(reehdus @ Feb 11 2011, 10:31 AM) And seeing as how they are doing popular gundams...will we have to wait long for an RG Unicorn...that can transform??? Jeng Jeng Jeng!!! ...and suffer limbs and parts that fall off here and there? No thanks.
QUOTE(nazrul90 @ Feb 11 2011, 11:14 AM) in the end i dont use any screw.. lucky the shoulder not loose even without screws The screws really serve no purpose at all, other than the ones in the G-Gundam series. This post has been edited by Parody: Feb 12 2011, 05:35 PM
