Come to think of it, my most probable next droid would be one from Samsung. I don't think I could live without touchwiz now. I love the swipe right left for call and texting, I love the smart search in dialpad, I love the swipe left right on notification bar for brightness. Only thing is the unpredictable lag. Without hummingbird, that shouldn't be a problem. YAY! biggrin.gif Hopefully they are using tegra 2 and NOT qualcomm please no adreno 205 please that's a downgrade for us.

exynos aka orion. biggrin.gif
Edit, didn't read your phrase.. I thought you were asking what is exynos. Haha now I see..

BTW guys, just wanna share.

Go to market and search ampache, there's 3 clients.

Ah now I remembered ampache. I have used it before. Their interface has not changed at all since I forst use it.

First, you need to install an apache server and mysql. easiest way is too install xampp http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html

Then only can you install ampache. It works by acting as a web server. It streams music over the internet. To setup is more technical.

I use camera360. Something new compare to stock camera app.

But I do find (subjectively) the pictures taken with camera360 is better quality compare to pictures taken with stock camera. blush.gif

Lacus, also a SGS owner has applied the firmware. Noticeable change was AF in video. I have not upgraded yet. I shall get his phone for side by side comparison.

if i'm in KL right now, probably i'll find silentser and crossx to do a gps h/w fix for me somehow. i've been staying with darky 8.0 for about a month now, only updated the speedmod and r64 themes somehow. the only thing that bothers me right now is the gps, i got before the october punya phone. aiyoyoyo

Hotmail push mail configuration on Android: http://mengsuan.blogspot.com/2011/02/andro...-push-mail.html

By default, Email app polls manually for new email. Manual polling is slow and inefficient for your batteries. This guide is good for those using Hotmail and wants true push notifications. I discovered this only yesterday and I think it's worth to share. biggrin.gif

I'm afraid something must be wrong to be hot, probably hardware.

Let the device cool down to normal temperature, then try again. If it couldn't turn on, you probably cannot flash it either. There could be hardware damage.
