went for 1st 1k service (actual mileage 8xxkm) today afternoon at PE Mutiara D'sara, they recommended to install a device called 'MagneTrap' which cost RM68.
the product is installed around the oil filter & is supposed to :- -remove unwanted metals particles from the engine by trapping it to the side of the oil filter -therefore maintaining cleaner engine oil so, went ahead & paid for it while the normal 1k service is foc via voucher.. can 'tekan' the engine now :-) any of u guys were recommended this product during servicing at this sc or other sc?. |

If really got this kind of function to save fuel, boost power, sure a lot of car company would buy the patent already right ? I install one in my old Wira last time, later just cabut it off again lo. |

right on..inspira labelled as copycat lar what lar..but somehow or rather, the have no qualm pretending theirs as lancer gt "evolution"..come on lar..grow up..its a normal mid size japanese sedan, not something exclusive like pagani zonda/huayra or anything..
i like my inspira..its a good car for its price...im not claiming it to pawn any other cars or whatever..bottomline is, why does these ppl even bother, it not their money in the 1st place..everyone have their own choice.. QUOTE(XCInspire @ Feb 14 2011, 06:15 PM) We will soon out number the lancers... So there is no difference in principle if lancer or inspira covert to evo X bodykit rite? But we pay abt 23K lesser... (lgx now offer at 113K only) but no auto cruise or rain/light sensor, also smaller rims. |

Added on February 14, 2011, 9:28 pmEco tint for Inspira is selling at RM 3000, this is the top range of Ecotint product, double tint may void both warranty plus illegal. I got it replaced last week due to small bubbles. This post has been edited by sityong: Feb 14 2011, 09:28 PM |

Finally back in Muar around 8.30 pm
Fixed Hotbits full exhaust system at Speedworks today afternoon. The sound very very nice (Higher fuel consumption - always try to drive faster at higher rpm to hear the sound). There was an increase of around 9 bhp. Sorry, forgot to take photo of new exhaust before fixing |

One more question, how long it take to get it fitted?
Also I heard from dessimo that you were offered to upgrade the brakes as well? Do you know what brand was offered? This post has been edited by SothysSaleShop: Feb 14 2011, 10:32 PM |

It took around 4 hours as I wanted the end of the exhaust to be lower (they had to do some welding)
Should have taken around 2 hours plus only |
