Added on January 31, 2012, 2:07 amcurrently im playing rpg and fps games. so 661 can do the job? dont want burn my money to get siberia v2 if the sound more less with 661.

Depends on u really....superlux was never designed with games in mind hence if you are looking for something with heavy head pounding bass should look elsewhere. But audio quality wise should be more superior than those 'gaming' headphones

Actually the clamping force is not that great..I have a huge head and for the short time I had the 661 I never had experience any discomfort using the 661

661 is so comfortable , i almost fall asleep

Just a friendly reminder for future Superlux headphone users, please do yourself a favour by stretching them if you feel the fit is a bit tight. It'll probably save you from the most possible future comfort issue.

I just brought Objective 2 amp recently thanks to leolabs

Tried it with superlux HD668B and as expected it drives the HD668B really well! My impression after a few hours using it :_

- the clarity is much better to me then the one from maverick D1. The instrument sounds can be heard very clearly while not experiencing extreme sibilance during playback.
- the bass is still light which is not great for any bass oriented music ( trance,dubstep,etc ). Then again I'm not expecting anything much from HD668B when comes to bass anyway. This superlux model doesn't do well in bass department to begin with.
- the mids, soundstage doesn't change much when comparing the ones with O2 and without it.

Even through the price for the amp is higher then the headphone itself ( around Rm330 ) but I believe this pairing is greatly suitable for those who are into microdetails.

There were several units on demo at Instraco and I have tried them all.
Two models that I liked best, 681B(bought earlier long time ago) and 668B...

Still kicking with my tissue modded HD661. I love it. Sharp highs are nicer soubding now. Ballad & R&B sounded great with those on. I have a Shure SE215 IEM and it's strikingly different. Those cans are bright and my buds are warm. Perfect for whatever mood I'm in.

Any red HD661 users? I thought it would be awesome to list down what colour everyobe owns.
