Hello guys...I am thinking on grabbing those HD381. drool.gif From the review its mentioned it poorly built quality. Anybody who have the HD381 could share his/her personnel opinion on the build quality. hmm.gif

And regarding the SQ, if compare HD381 with Hippo Grove or Sound Magic PL20 or PL21. hmm.gif any one who have these could share some thought.

Thanks. rclxms.gif

Guys my HD381 right side rosak already sad.gif (wire broken away from the earpiece) less than 4 months old only. Since this is my very first in-ear headphones, I wonder if all these kind of phones rosak so easily? I wonder if it worth it to get it rewire or just buy a new better build in-ear phone. I am using it at the office so can't use those full headphone, later my boss make sour face.. smile.gif... Thanks...

Okay got my HD661 from Bro Trio yesterday rclxms.gif thumbup.gif ... tested last nite.. cool.gif now burning at home..

What i discovered was that I can hear static noise at low volume hmm.gif .... which was never there when I was using my cheap audio technica before... it goes like tic tic tic tic...at random interval... I think it came from my PC anybody have this problem before on any superlux model? I wonder why it never show up on my ATH-SJ3 before. Is it because HD661 too sensitive or too detail? I am driving it straight from pc to the HDD661 no amp or dac yet.. sweat.gif

Thinking to get amp-dac next any suggestion for a sweet cheap combination whistling.gif

Thanks
Lan biggrin.gif

Hello all...need some pointers
I've been using my HD661 for almost 2 weeks now. Love the sound rclxms.gif ..but the headphone is giving me headache and discomfort. sad.gif After15-30 minutes I can't take the pressure of the ear-cups.

Any Idea how to loosen it up a bit? I've try to put it across the box that come with it... but so far still the same.

Will give it another week to try it but if still the same might selling it of. hmm.gif

Thanks

try the tissue mod, stuff some tissue inside the cup, this lengthens the distance from ear to driver, making it more comfortable
*
Hey thanks noobandroid for the info will try it...smile.gif rclxms.gif

I bend the rod a lil bit. Noticably comfortable. Can wear for 5/6 hours straight.
*
You mean manually bend it using pliers? Afraid it will deform permanently or worst brake it.. hmm.gif

I bend the middle rod. It now sports a minuscule curve rather than a full one but still a curve nonetheless. Needs a bit of force. nod.gif
*
Okay.. Will try it..

Thanks rclxms.gif

No lar most ppl that wear glasses do not like on ear coz it will press upon them. On ears like portapro all is fine but those with a very small pads tend to annoys me
*
That why I am asking about the comfort level on the HD572, is it really bad those thin small pads?
