I like this..
1mW (0,82VRMS ) = 102dB
portable DAP (around 1 VRMS) = around 104dB
C'moy (single 9V rechargeable battery fed, 50mA current limit) = about 120dB
200mW (3,7VRMS) = 125dB.

Cons: Sharp edge on certain kinds of music (rock and complex music)

The usage as a Hi-Fi headphone in stock form is limited to a certain range of music genre: acoustic music and easylistening
types of music with female voices. For this the HD661 is very well suited. Not very suited for music with
screaming guitars and such.


Argh.. not my type of cans... I more to rock and like screaming guitars... doh.gif

Planning to get a T-muso dac after I get my hd661/hd668b..Will the dac give an improvement for the cans? currently using the stock soundcard in my dell laptop..

Thanks for confirming this.. BTW, I saw your post about putting something below the dac if planning to put it inside eclipse box to avoid overheating..What should I put in?

i've seen some people using this kind of sponge, feel like a thin layer of sponge
should try this one for the tmuso, maybe it can hold much more better
