I might use sock to cover the SR850 'leather'.. maybe can improve the air circulation.. my ear having a sauna now.

burn-in dulu, then you know how much it's suppose to cost you.. it's a killer...
I never touch my Shure for more than 30 minutes now after I start using Superlux(Samson). |

superlux 668B band is not so comfort. I did try it at KLAV show. That why I bought Samson. Sound wise, almost the same.

Manage to test 669 and HD660 today at Jalan Pasar.. price a bit higher than at lowyat.net. Demo set is hook to Superlux and Samson headphone amplifier. I didn't bring my Fiio E11 today cos not really expected to test any headphone.
 699 sound nice but lack of bass, not sure the demo unit already burn-in or not, still look new. For real, 669 really need an amp, my Samson can be drive by my Cube at volume level 10 -17, but 669, even at full volume, still not enough juice. I really like the pad, comfortable than most Superlux model. Softer but the headband is no no for me. HD660 sound also the same as others but I forgot to test with my own Cube. Just with Superlux own amp, which is not good enough for me, and their source is crappy Ipod, no flac lol. The demo unit pad and headband so call 'leather' torn out to piece. , something that I really hate happen to my headphone.I might go there again to test after raya. I bring my own amp, Samson and Shure to compare. |
