Hi, recently I received iriver t9 as a gift. So now Im considering to get Superflux HD381F from hellfire8888. The only thing Im worry is iriver t9 can fully utilize this earphone? I dont know about the SQ iriver because never use cube c30, sansa clip+ and so on. So I cant compare it. Any member here use iriver product before? Hows the sound quality?

Max. Input Power for HD381F is 50 mW, Output for T9 is 12.5mw per channel. So I think should be good to pair.

Sony output is only 5mw but loud enough for IEM.

Isit output power for iriver t9 should to 50mW in order to get the BEST performance. LOL. Im just a beginner

I think if u input 50mW into ur 381F, you'll gone deaf in < 1 second. lol

50mW too loud for IEM.

Sound quality, can't comments.. never try it.

Samsung Galaxy S II output is around 5mW..

From website somewhere:
C30 is embedded with Maxim MAX9722 stereo headphone amplifiers, allowing maximum 130mW output.

Clip+ Maximum Output: About 15 mW

Earphone affect A LOT. Source affect A LOT TOO. If just the problem of volume, it's not a big problem. But it's sound quality that matters. This explains why there are earphone/headphone that will cost you 3k++. If it's just for the volume, why do you pay 3k?

Source, when you go further into audiophile world, ppl will recommend you to get a DAC and then an AMP. Every DAC and AMP has its own behaviour, altering the sound signal sent into it. A lot of thing la. Me also not pro. No money for those thing. haha

Best Input + Best Medium + Best Output = org kaya only can.

Good Input + Good Medium + Good Output = most of us can.

Crappy Input + Crappy Medium + Crappy Output = ebeli-one can.

Input can be notebook, DAP, high end cd player

Medium can be USB DAC, soundcard, amp, hi fi

Output is speaker, iem, headphone

Input, medium and output can be cheap, expensive or out of mind price.

Choose where you are and spend wisely.
