I'm selling off my first batch of grandchildren. Feel sad to do so, but they must move on.

thank you~!

yeah I was actually in grief for quite some time due to 2 of my GP died early this year. Yui my first GP died first, then Nao her best friend followed her...they have been with me for 5 years plus, so when they suddenly departed, it was such a shock to, so I stop visiting this thread until now...

It now just Alice and Shiki with me. Since Alice is now pregnant I'm being more cautious, hope everything goes well.

5 years is considered old and already lived their life to the fullest, thanks to you. Sorry for your loss, but at least they lived a full life. smile.gif

Soli for the loss. But not keeping them in confinment might be bad as well as they roam too much and might have pick up something along the way.. If u wan it to roam freely. Build a big open top cage. Where they can run around but within the cage which u r sure is clean and safe.. So lesson learn.. Cause of sickness and death boil down to alot of factors. Food u fed, the initial condition when u bought it, the care u give.. Etc.

hi to all GP lovers,

after much reading through, research, $$ planning, discussion, and new-found love for GPs, i would love to start off with a pair of GP.

i PM-ed beer8bottles abour her grandkids, but too bad im a little late.

so i am wondering if any kind breeders are willing to put their grandkids up for adoption ("selling grandkids" sounds bad, so there!)

would prefer tri-colour, and my location is KL (seri petaling/kuchai/ampang/setapak)

and as suggested on the first post, my last choice would be getting them through petshops.

Pls do not buy from petshop... it means supporting them only. They get their stock mostly from mass breeder like farms. Tiny in size, skin problem, and just about 2 weeks ago I saw one died inside the glass cabinet at toby petshop at ikano...there are plenty of gp in lowyat pet store forum. Try searching there for home breeder.

hi Zipa. is both of the teeth gone? do you observe whether he is able to eat on his own or not?

My Skiki broke 1 of the teeth last year, but he is able to eat lie normal, only a little slower than usual.

Usually it is caused by the teeth grow longer than it should due to excessive calcium intake. Once it get too long it might break when ur GP eat. It will grow back.

1 month.. u sometimes need to trim it.. as broken teeth might grow faster.. until they are both align again..
