QUOTE(celciuz @ Jan 27 2011, 08:42 AM) 12mega pixel to 24 plus video recording. tempting la bro. QUOTE(edwardgsk @ Jan 27 2011, 09:31 AM) Surely better than D3s one. D7000's iso performance also stand not far away behind D3s already what, whats the point of making another camera which has the same capability like D3s already? yeah if not mistaken the forumer (CY) said they share the same sensor. But dunno have to wait D4 or not 1st, because D700's engine actually came from D3 if I'm not mistaken, so can say D700 and D3 is damn similar one. There's possibility that we might have to wait D4 then only D800 come out also. Hard to say. Will nikon announce replacement of D300s as well? |

guys if you have kit lens 18-55 and so happen you bought wide converter with a high price (e.g RM700) <- silly me.
and I am thinking to grab 17-50 tamron. what will you do? will you sell it 1st then use your tamron only (knowing the fact kit lens is good for wide angle) or you will keep both one for wide combo plus wide converter and another one tamron for normal purpose lens? QUOTE(celciuz @ Jan 27 2011, 11:41 AM) That's what I doubt as well. but selling them is a very hard task. anyway CY. do you think VR in range of 17-50 is a necessity? This post has been edited by aldosoesilo: Jan 27 2011, 11:56 AM |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jan 27 2011, 11:52 AM) Typo. I mean 17-50. Considering tamron between VC and non-VC.since 24-70 VR is not required. I will go for non-VC instead. selling kitty yay This post has been edited by aldosoesilo: Jan 27 2011, 11:58 AM |

QUOTE(bbuser91 @ Jan 27 2011, 12:15 PM) Try to search dpreview forum and photomalaysia see. Some said yes some said no. Ask Kent lo he is using. =D yeah I also like prime but you can't shoot only with 50mm prime don't you?I see Canon thread, they got discussed about it before. Im using D3100 , but i wont get tamron 17-50 f2.8 at least for now because i like prime ><" For wide angle i would go for 10-24mm nikkor for non-autofocus motor For DX like d90 i would go for tokia 11-16 Added on January 27, 2011, 12:18 pm Try to search dpreview forum and photomalaysia see. IMO moreover budget-wise prime is far more costly. I am waiting for kent to pop-up |

QUOTE(Kent3888 @ Jan 27 2011, 12:34 PM) I'm using VC n I love it.... haha..... VC vs non-VC, I would juz grab the VC coz of the function, don care sharpness 1st, juz try handheld indoor without high iso, shoot on some words at distance n see can't some1 shoot in indoor without VC? I thought bumb the ISO will do. especially you have D7000. up to ISO 6400 still good.why even bother about VC? QUOTE(celciuz @ Jan 27 2011, 12:57 PM) how about wide-angle lens? |

QUOTE(pikipiki @ Jan 27 2011, 01:07 PM) I think the problem is about the focal length. The longer the focal length, the greater the shake will affect the image and thru your viewfinder it is as if there are some earthquake going on. that the reason I doubt having VC in tammy 1750 is essential as it's maximum range is only 50mm.But below 60mm I think it is still ok without any IS/VR/VC, haven't tried any telephoto lens without VR tho. moreover VC version seems less sharp http://thrillmere.com/2010/09/tamron-17-50...-vc-comparison/ Added on January 27, 2011, 1:13 pm QUOTE(gnome @ Jan 27 2011, 01:09 PM) Its better if you go to the shops and try the VC and Non VC lens, see which one works best for you. Different people different requirement, some need it and some dont. For me VR/VC/OS or whatever its called are always welcome. thanks for the input bro. I think I will grab tammy 1750 non-VC instead. but let's see. This post has been edited by aldosoesilo: Jan 27 2011, 01:13 PM |
