u can use the indicator in the VF ma. Once it's green, it's in focus lo.

i never said it's impossible .. i cume ckp susah ... lagi lagi moving object ..  i used FM2 and FM10 .. manual focus too. but to shot moving object is quite difficult .. unless u shoot model .. senang la .. u got time to adjust ur setting, focus ...  and for me .. even i shoot in studio i pakai Auto Focus.

i personally think . that instead of knowing which lens suits you .... how to use that lens .. this lens ... u better start learn composition. and learn to shoot using lighting ( studio light or speedlight )
Bokeh is nice ... but lighting will get u further .

Hi, im really love DSLR and I want 2 buy Nikon. Now funding for Nikon D90 coz there are 3 of my frens using Nikon 1 D60 n 2 D90..so, I will choose nikon over Canon n lame alpha ..Im pretty noob about dis DSLR thing, so, mind telling me wat is aperture,shutter speed n ISO? When I hav to change them?

i gave u example of lighting ... such as speedlight or studio light ... but actually u didn't realize that u got lot of light source around u... available light ... tungsten ... flourescent lamp ...  and if u can buy expensive lens .. y dont u spend little on cheap lighting ..  if u too depends on Bokeh .. ur picture will end up boring ...  just my 2 cents opinion ..

Does anyone knows what is the expected second hand price for a two years old Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8?

The lens is in mint condition, it is protected with the filter since day 1, but there's one small white mark on the lens's front element (It's on the rim of the lens, it doesn't seem to affect the image quality, I am not sure if it's removable or not)

Oh, dunno dat..hehe..Wat I mean is cleaning kit or free upgrade 2 8Gb MicroSD..

2870 got AF-S so its silent. Main different other then already stated would be the size and weight, there's a reason why people call it "the beast"

nikon never said its lenses are weather sealed. but most of us knew it from experience that the lenses can and do appear weather resistant. to what extent? well up to your luck i guess

i've used my camera with the 18-70mm in minor rain a couple of times without cover. no problem so far *touch wood*

the 18-70 do has this rubber thingie at the mount part though. not bad for a kit lens

Im buying nikkor len . But i dont have my DSLR here , left at hometown. ><" , i try to borrow the camera to test from the camera shop

3. Check the focus
4. Using focus chart (Wonder they provided or not)
5. Check the outer
6. Check the scratch
