I'm think of getting a manual transmission from either Satria 1.6XLi manual or Perdana manual.

Not sure whether is compatible with the transmission mounting and the drive shaft cross-sectional dimension is another concern.

F5mb222? First time i heard. Normally f5m222. Im using it.u need to mod before can put into ur saga. Custom dresap . Rm 300 per piece. Clutch pump padel to fit in to ur iswara, drill into ur firewall.. The good gearbox and rare code is BOBOL . 4g61t gearbox.

Depends on the for code after 222. Normally vrze, vrzg and Xrxe

I'm still looking for the answer to the question, what ratio?

And as mentioned, no mod, it seems like there is no alternative transmission tht fits perfectly into the hood without mod.

Not many quality and reliable after market mod parts available for Saga/Iswara. Mosly are cap Ah Kau, cap Ayam, cap Ah Beng made in Segambut, Sg. Buloh, Shah Alam, etc.

yes...u true....but you must know....who that saga/iswara user/owner is low income and middle.........to get OEM parts from proton is expensive and not all can afford it....cheap spare parts commonly come from taiwan/malaysia for fullfill demand than want low price......but have some branded company like Jasma n other have high quality item/parts/motor sports item for saga/iswara.....that have ciplak one...........i can afford that low price only becoz im student and no fixed income...that true....but the timing belt and other moving part i find that reliable....

Back to the topic, so this JASMA is where made? Gua Musang? Pasir Gudang? Or Tanjung Rambutan?

The RSP for JASMA product are mostly very cheap.

Mix match final drive n gearbox housing from 3 different gearbox. What gearbox not sure coz i never bother to ask anymore. Haha.

Easier alternative, modify mounting lo.
