Guys, does tng ewallet/grabpay wallet reload entitle TP?

1. TNG ewallet dont accept AMEX
2. Maybank will not reward TP for any ewallet reload.

might consider this if we can travel freely... otherwise.. whats the point.. m2p is the same minus travel perks

1. Evergreen points, it wont expire (good for now that we cant travel)
2. Redeem other exotic FFP (Emirates etc which M2P cant)

Yes, M2P is good enough for majority here.

If you are a priority banking customer in Maybank, do they offer you to apply for the Amex charge card?

While waiting for others to confirm on this, you may apply this card if you are interested.

Can apply without any invitation.

Little incentive to get this card except the ‘metal ‘ card itself

During MCO, quite a few here received invitation card.
Too bad no AF waiver.
Not necessary having priority banking, I think they are targeting those holding M2P.
The points are evergreen, no need worry about expiry.
Only good for those heavy spenders.

It worth with its travel perks. although cant travel oversea now but I booked St Regis recently thru Amex to celebrate wife birthday and get a complimentary set dinner for 2 at St Regis's restaurant. Pretty good deal


I was told the AF can be "contra" with certain number of points. Not sure if its true.

yet another maybank card. you wouldn't get as much protection on your purchases as you would from amex.

Guys, wanna ask, for new approval, usually when will they charge d annual fee?

I already got my second statement but still no annual fee charge yet
