Any Platinum cardholders here charge six figures monthly for business purposes? Does Maybank just close one eye?

I dont see why you cant, as long as you claim from your business and pay it off. I do it with my AMEX CC for high 5 figures every other month or so (since it's credit, then don't have the limit to go 6 figures). Looking at getting the platinum card now for such business charges

I think his main concern is whether MBB will send love letter ask to prove those are personal transactions but not business transactions.
Heard a few cases recently, but not first hand info, can't comment much.

Most of 7-eleven accept Amex but not 7-eleven Malaysia.

Obviously no.
Not even the Maybank x Shopee awards coins/TPs for topping up ShopeePay e-wallet.

Buy ShopeePay credit from some sellers at Shopee, but most of them charge 5%.

Correct correct. Trying to avoid love letter. I think if your charges are all in foreign currency maybe they're more lenient due to the fees they earn or something. I'm still using M2P now and it's been almost a year. So far so good. Thinking of getting the Amex Plat mainly because it's a charge card and I also enjoy evergreen MR points with the same awesome conversion rate of RM1 = 1 KF etc. Not to mention the rest of the perks that come with the card.

They accept VISA and MC credit cards now but not AMEX. At least not with wave. I haven't tried pin yet since I'm reluctant to touch the keypad...

Ahhh okay. We're in similar boats then. I also use my M2P Amex for a majority of business charges, though mine are mostly in USD. Have plans on shifting to the platinum charge card later this year so I don't need to keep monitoring the credit limit and paying it off before statement date just to make space. Fingers crossed MBB doesn't take issue!

Exact same boat as you actually. USD as well. Credit limit is annoying so Platinum will be soo soo much easier. And we get the same air miles conversion rate and more perks tongue.gif
