Its 20K within 3 months. As I plan to go to Spore and Perth within 3 months so I think will be able to reach the limit as will use for hotel stays. Planning to check out the Tower Club in Spore using the Platinum

Not Maybank 2 Amex. Many many yrs ago, Maybank had Amex credit card with 5x MR for groceries, petrol and utilities. Now they replaced with this cashback version. And my card now only gets 5x for groceries. No more for petrol and utilities. Only recently I realised this change. After swiping so many times for petrol and not paying attention to my MR statement *sigh*

There's a lot of benefits if you apply US Platinum card, $200 for Uber, $200 for airline credit, $550 on hotel (combine in a year ) despite its $550 annual fee.

Here you need to pay RM3250, which can scare off some people. What else do you get beside of the 300k Membership point? Any voucher for the hotel etc?

Yup, because Msia CC business isn't competitive.
The only good thing from Msia Amex is getting 5x MR for everything (except utilities etc), which gives ~0.9 mile/RM equivalent to ~0.2 mile/$!!!
For US version, you only receive 1 mile/$, except a few categories which get you 5x MR.

So will Malaysia version receive complementary hotel stay night or voucher?

Not sure, I never hold this card, but have a look at Thailand benefits, very worthy to get this card (better than Malaysia )

Very good deal. Singapore also has very good deals for their premium credit cards. For me, our Amex charge card has zero incentive to sign up.
