I haven’t been in touch with some of the changes recently. Can anyone confirm my latest understanding on these? I have 1 Amex Gold CHARGE Card and 1 Amex Gold CREDIT Card (not the cashback one).
Gold CHARGE Card
. Previously I had Turbo MR thing for 2x becoming 3x MR but does this Turbo still exist? Because I haven’t seen RM100/year “enrolment” fee for a while, unless I missed it when they have it in my statement amongst other expenditures
. I have auto-billing for utilities, DBKL, MBPJ, Timedotcom, TNB, etc; question: now I’m only receiving 1 MR for each RM1?
. Spending this card for petrol will not give me 2+1(Turbo) but only 1 MR, right?
Gold CREDIT CARD
. 5x MR for groceries; this one remains, right? Based on MBB website
. 5x MR for petrol; no more valid, now only 1x MR apparently
Also if I actually still have Turbo (I can call them and ask, LOL), anything that gives 1 MR (eg: utility) can become 2 MR?
EDIT: OK I still have Turbo but unsure if any 1 MR from utilities become 2 MR or not. Their statements only lump sum everything in one report so hard to see unless I calculate manually.
Hi, by Amex Gold CREDIT card, are you referring to the Maybank 2 Gold/Platinum Amex Card? I’m not aware of an Amex Gold Credit Card that isn’t the Cashback one and offer 5xMRGold CHARGE Card
