bought a Maxis set by Brightstar, how should i register for 2 yrs warranty??? Maxis site said 2 yrs warranty...

i think maxis' warranty is auto registered..

yeah if bought new better just observe. personally never had a dropped call though. Reception low and 'death grip'? lol

Regarding warranty, don't depend on Maxis. Better find out on yourself how to get the warranty solved before it's too late, like give a call to maxis and ask them how's it done.

Yes. You will need to re-root.

@dj, oddly my trackpad wake still works after upgrading. does it mean my root is still dere or i will still nid to re-root for other apps that may require rooting?

I'm not clear about that. I also have that experience where shootme still works fine after I enable s-on. My guess is that root permission were granted to these apps already so it matters no more. For the case of trackpad wake I think it's written as a system file so it remains there until you perform factory reset, I guess.

anyone with digi (unlimited RM15/week) problem where its always connected on Edge and not 3G? I can't seem to get 3G eventhough my friends around me is on 3G

well sometimes is signal problem or phone reception... they will automatically switch the network if the signal of 3G is weak... that's y it sucks a lot of battery, i only use GSM network to get a better reception and also stable line... i tried use 3G it is kinda annoyed when you will get missed call notice or voice mail...
our malaysian 3G network sucks...

The video recording of this thing is ok, but the audio sucks man... No joke weih. Took recording of my friend's performance in a campus audition. The audio terus tak boleh guna. A lot of 'noise', like exploding like that. It's recording too much crap.

too bad lorh. nothing is perfect on both end. if its good, then nikon / canon chap lap d.

anyway, i upgraded the radio. doesnt seem any significant difference yet. hopefully battery life could be improve.
