settings -> manage applications -> running -> *tap app* -> force close.

You don't really need to do it though. Apps close themselves pretty well when you click back until you return to homescreen.

Your hinge. Loose or snappy?

What build number are you on?

@spunk, time flies~

@deslim, no shortcut other than that icon you mentioned.

the stock browser will feel capable for the time being. When it starts to feel incapable, give alternative browsers a try. I recommend Dolphin Mini. You'll never go back to stock again.

If WiFi is giving you problem in the 'correct' (anti-clockwise 90 degree), try rotating clockwise 90 deg and see got difference or not. You won't be able to use the physical KB in this orientation, but it's sort of a workaround. Soon you'll just make do with the weaker wifi signals. Data still goes thru if the signal is weak so no worries.

If by loose you mean 'having slight side-to-side freedom of motion when reciprocating finger fiddling is applied', then yes.

Though I certainly won't call the freedom of motion mentioned 'loose'. Unless yours is a faulty unit.

To commorate deslim's acquisition of a DZ, I have made a public-editable spreadsheet that contains the owners list. Since I want reviews but you guys want an owners list, I hope the small survey that is included can serve as a middle ground.

LYN HTC Vision Owners List

So start adding your names! Anyone with a browser should be able to edit the spreadsheet. (GDocs FTW!)

Tell me if you guys want to add anything.

The list will go on frontpage when it hits 10 entrants.

^actually it's because the 1.72 ROM is currently unrootable.

The PSNeuter procedure functions to change the electronic tag of the 1.72 to 1.31 (or a number smaller than 1.32) so that a ROM.zip (containing build #1.32) update can be performed. The flash will go thru because the phone recognises that 1.32 is newer than 1.31 (which in fact is actually 1.72), and thus bringing the phone to a rootable state, ie a 1.32 ROM. Permaroot attempt is to be performed after this 'update' (update or downgrade depends on how you look at it).

Besides that, new rom introduce more bugs such as missed sms notifications. It annoys me too.

Been using it for 3 months but still loving it ^^ I still don't have the urge to root it. Maybe my requirement is not that high.

Lol, I think the only time I'll start to root is when htc decided not to update the rom anymore. I know trackpad wake sounds convenient, but somehow I've developed the habit of unlock phone using power button even I've off the keyguard. So yea, I don't need trackpad wake anymore laugh.gif
