Yeah, I read that already, but they say need ROM Manager and Nandroid, which is available in rooted phone only. So, should I be looking at root my phone into unrevoked, then use that to get to LeeDroid. Am I correct on this?

Getting my Desire soon so i have some question i hope you guys can help... i did search but i figure out asking will be faster... pardon me if the question is asked before... will unrevoked rooting be enough?

1.) I plan to root... but i dont understand what is the ROM and all... what exactly is that? not the steps, but what are ROMs inside android phones? and why exactly is rooting gives more space?

2.) Micro SD card.. do i simply just slot in or must i do something about it first? if yes what?

3.) It seems to me Leedroid is good i wont ask how to apply... but rather.. will it have the screen and gestures and everything same as the original desire UI? because im impressed with the original one already..

That's all my doubt... for now..

Any idea for me to backup my apps list (other than writing it down by hands) that can let me install them back easily after rooting? Also, how to backup my current Sense scene as well? It took me a long time of playing around to finally reach my current scene.
My contact is backup in my gmail and I don't really care about messages.
Photos and videos can be backup-ed manually in Windows.

No problem for many of us who is using leedroid 2.3d a2sd. I hv alot of apps. Trust me alot. I still have 50+ mb internal memory.

use titanium backup to backup your apps

for the scenes you'll have to redo it, there's no way of backing it up,
maybe take a screenshot of it using shootme app,
the app requires root access so you'll have to root first then only take screenshot,
then later redo your scene accordingly,

guys.. need some help here, yesterday my mobile internet edi go crazy as in keep disconnect.. but still able to use it la..
today worst !!
cannot connect at all.. edi restart my phone thousand times, delete and retype apn setting..

only 1 extra app called superuser will be added into your app drawer

lol , forget what i install the leedroid version when , anyway now got app2sd . done >.< just hate some games only can install on int memory .

beside a2sd, there is a2sd+. u can move more to ext sd. that's dalvik-cache...
