I'm sure normal stock rom cannot. I guess this is not in high demand but the other way,
which is notebook need to utilize ur mobile internet is more important feature.

IMHO: Why need to using phone to online while u have running Internet notebook beside you?
normally if I need new full app to install on my mobile which is not available at market (u know wat it this...),
just download via notebook. then turn on my mobile, wireless FTP server. just drag what ever I download to phone. faster.

not really understand ur question.
the idea suggest is actually using ur pc download any apps u like, the file format is .apk
then u just transfer the .apk file into your sd card. using any file explorer (example like ASTRO, ES Explorer)
to browse ur .apk file from sd card, just install it.... no need root also. unless the apps u looking for required rooted phone.

the top left 1st icon is security apps called Lookout. please check appbrain for detail.

MIUI user here but I never try Sense HD before.
only can give u comment if compare MIUI with original sense UI.
I will said, never u-turn back to sense ui anymore.
MIUI is fast, if you still want faster, disable all animate and disable high-quality graphics launcher.
But I did not disable both, it's still fast.
Still not enough? instead using original bundled MIUI kernel, flash other performance kernel.


I also consider before ASOP gingerbread rom available now, but it's too bored because the developer want to keep it clean and stable at this moment. So I will not jump from MIUI at this moment. hopefully MIUI team are working on gingerbread MIUI now.....

I will also suggest as phantomash said. try it urself to experience if can. MIUI and Sense HD are completely different.

yes, me too. already more than 2 months I using MIUI. A2SD never give me a trouble.
it's Darktremor 2.7.5.2 now, newer update. I guess better script improve. else you can modify to firecat.

current latest version are better stable, it's true from very very old version of MIUI have more FC on launcher but it's fixed now. the most attracting me is the new MIUI build in File Explorer with wireless FTP server support. I did not need to plug in USB for huge file transfer anymore.
IMHO, the most important thing what so different of MIUI compare with rest of rom: complete different of interface especially better GUI instead of plain text in ASOP rom setting. the best is, you should experience all different good roms suggested. different ppl have diff needs nod.gif
