its easy. Desire is 2 years in a row phone of the year. Do you still need to choose? best phone in 2009 and 2010, even after DHD, nexus S, iphone 4 is released. Got what i mean? dont you feel proud with the best phone in your hand?

just press menu and tap batch, backup all apps. if possible, copy entire sd card as backup. just in case anything went wrong.
wipe data, wipe cache, full wipe are recommended. follow by flash rom. after reboot and stable. install back titanium.
remember, suggest restore app only (without data).

Depends on what's important to you. You want better 3D graphics? Samsung Captivate (it's a Galaxy S with Hummingbird inside). You want the best UI for facebook/e-mails/browser with best user experience? HTC Sense.

No phone is perfect. Get ur requirement prioritize.

err, just make to confirm , when i done flash rom , install titanium , then make recover , it's will ask you to select recover app only or apps + data ?

i now downloading CM_bravo_full-32.zip , it's everything just do like i flash the leedroid ? and i could now find the radio at CM xda(will it make my wifi speed drop?) ...

I did, just somehow got too many information from all places, and got confused about it already.
Some of the guides (from googles, from the 1st page, lost track..) I see always start with Nandroid backup, or what Clockwork, ROM manager etc. All of those require ROOTED phone right? How do I start from my UNROOTED phone?
Then I read about what GoldCard, partition SD card to have EXT, then HBOOT version must be lower than 0.8 or what (I checked and mine is 0.9 something). Then I came across S-OFF thingy (which I think is something much later), and alright, it's information overdosed. Don't know which to follow, which to omit.

In short, how do I get to root my phone (which is unrooted) into a ROM that uses Sense UI (LeeDroid is my current choice as I see it quite popular)?

My bad. I mean got 2 times when Desire got voted as the best phone. not phone of the year la. before all those Nexus S and its army come out, Desire has been first and even after that, it is still first.

Yeap same as any rom. Read the first page of the nightlies if you want some more features added. bout radio, its up to own preferences/phones. SOme will get certain radio better and some dont.

No problem for many of us who is using leedroid 2.3d a2sd. I hv alot of apps. Trust me alot. I still have 50+ mb internal memory.

My first ROM was reflextsense. It was quite slow and not to my liking. Then after flashing to Leedroid, its like I found my other half. wub.gif
