1GB is enough for being always online. i always got to 1.3GB monthly only, though i took the 3GB one. damn regret it taking 3GB. i'm on contract so cant cancel it.

lol? u comparing a laptop to a smartphone? of course laptop's reception is better in any way around. nothing can beat it. getting the 1 bar is normal, if your laptop is 3 bars.

yeah MIUI is good. I love how they are based on CM and change its framework completely. and they even said it is based on Cyanogen. So it should be good. Last time i tried MIUI when it was on 0.12/0.14 i think. Long time edy.

yeah thats why sometimes a build is skipped. form #3 to #5. but i never expect it today. I just booted from #10 and refreshed the teamdouche site, bam got #11. downloading now.

i even removed set-cpu. haha~~

i bought everything that people use, Ultimate juice, Set-Cpu, widgetlocker, adw ex but i dont use them..

If no kernel, you wont even have a working rom. SO basically, every system, has their kernel. Its like their core, the nucleus to make a system works. Like us, humans, has a brain, and thats our kernel. No brain, we're dead. No kernel, no rom or operating system. You can install a custom kernel if you want to, or if it has the feature you want. But i usually stick to the stock one, provided with the rom.

Well in CM case, kali- is a senior linux admin, and his kernel alone is the best if compared to any custom kernel available. Most custom kernel are based on CM kernel, but with a lil bit more tweaks added. I've talked to kali- so thats why i know the details.

before you root? Root first, then backup and after that you can restore to original anytime. Just update the original update by htc, and you will lost the root, but who want that anyway? if you wanna back to original kernel, just flash the rom over without wipe and you're done. Or extract the kernel out of the rom and push it manually.

yup to root just use unrevoked and no you dont need drivers on desire, but you need drivers on your windows.

I dislike MIUI cuz of the iphone looks, but its good though. I'm back on cyanogen 7 after restoring my nandroid.
