QUOTE(blue16 @ Jan 16 2011, 06:59 PM) lol obviously duh... SB power consumption is lesser than the 1st Generation i7, and i guess they must have done something to H65M chipset. Still its unclear if intel solved the slow SSD(power save mode) speed on H55M chipset.i think the advantage of the SB is the battery life as in the performance is enuff for me oledi =D |

i think battery is of no concern as i believe we gamers would be likely to anchor their notebooks to a plethora of peripherals.. as for me I have 20" monitor, keyboard, mouse, 2.1 speakers, 3 external hard disk, 7-port USB hub and one thumb drive attached.... i can't imagine taking my notebook out..! haha

QUOTE(Irzani @ Jan 16 2011, 09:42 AM) At first by October 2009, I only got RM 4000 budget to buy an Acer in any retail market, then increase to Rm 4600 due someone recommendation to buy Dell XPS 16. Later, I learn about Sager for it's stable product line and it become 5200 ... and just by few month ago I increase the budget to RM 5600 after I learned the Asus G73 series which is more cheap and powerful ... but now, the new line come out and I need at least RM 6000, and another RM 500 for shipping cost Just buy it! Don't think too much. As long as the notebook suits your demands, then it is OK. I got the money since October 2009 ... but still didn't purchase one ... i got a serious problem Later if I choose a wife .. I dunno how long yo .. Bought from a forumer named LuminCheng that got the stock from US. Hmm , i dun get the "Windows 7 Recovery Media for Windows 7 Products" disc part, because it doesn't come with the package. But there's a program that pops up from the lower right hand corner that prompts me to " set up a back up". was wondering if i " set up a back up " , isi the backup the same as what it i need from the "Windows 7 Recovery Media for Windows 7 Products" disc ? |

that set a backup thing, if ur using the Asus program, will create a recovery disc. You won't get the win 7 recovery media disc, laptops don't get those anymore. need like 5 blank dvds... dual layer dvds didn't seem to work...

Hmm so the best way is to get a Win7 myself and start the recovery ? As this is a factory stored Win7 , i actually assumed it to have a valid cd key ahhaha This post has been edited by MariMo: Jan 17 2011, 07:38 PM |

ur cd key is on the bottom of your laptop. You can download the win 7 iso, select the correct version (home premium) and install it back, and use your cd key.
The instructions should be on the link Jeffery gave you |
