rice grain is put a dot in the middle then just straight put the heatsink back..
while the spread method, you use the card to spread the paste nicely and thinly...

Dang it. My notebook auto shutdown while I'm playing my FIFA game. It happened twice.

This is the screen shot after the auto shutdown:

Dang high temp? The ambient room temp is as low as 10 -12 degree celsius only.  mad.gif

Time to repaste? How about you guys' opinion?

Haha, actually from my view, no difference at all...the latest bios is 2.03...

I am using 6200 and the signal seems stronger than the stock wifi card..

What is the best thermal paste in the market now?
Kinda noob as this will be my 1st time applying the thermal paste myself. LOL!
No any special apparatus needed right?

anti static wrap is more of precaution.... you could just touch a grounded device like every 5 minutes... or touch it once and do it naked...

i kinda use a laptop pad, no fan, but its a full aluminum pad, and it does reduce my temps by 2-3 C if my aircon is on (this is aircon vs aircon with pad) in normal room temps, no diff.

Shouldn't cost anything unless it doesn't have warranty anymore...
It has international warranty...
