Do that comparison its really comparing apple to oranges.

Cheapest JLC is ~us$4k or a mid range Tag.

JLC produced the 2nd (?) most complicated wristwatch in the world... doesnt seem fair to compare it to.. Tag.

It's not a comparison.
What I meant is that say if you want a Tag Carrera 1887 which retails at 14k+
I'm sure there is a JLC within that price range as well...
Design and complication is not in this "comparison"

with 15k budget U can easily get a Cartier Santos/roadster or entry level chopard happy series in quartz.
with that kind of money can get a Zenith from thewatchery.com or ashford.com or a JLC reverso lady.

Sinn U1 is a good and tough watch yeah... but it also builts like a tank with the 44mm case and 15-17mm height... not really subtle.
Damasko on the other hand have smaller watches measuring 40-42mm... the design is simple and highly legible, can wear beneath shirt sleeves...
Different watch for different occasion maybe?
Ahhhh... tell u the truth, when we want something, we can come up with a million reasons... bottom line is... I want it? cool2.gif
