the staff at the shop told me they're attached together & if the GPU got problem, then has to exchange the whole motherboard...tml will call acer & highpoint to see whether they can do it within a day or 2...coz wil only staying at kl for 3 days, then off to sydney...hopefully they can do it

using 5750g, wondering why cant i run fullscreen for youtube? the screen blackout but audio stil running whenever i play fullscreen

Either upgrade the flash or try turn off the hardware acceleration on flash...

u might be using google chrome.... try IE

yea, but i used to not hav tht problem with chrome, wats the reason for tht happening now ?
Tried IE , it works fine wif fullscreen

BUT after i installed the abode flash in IE ( coz wanted to view a 1060p fullscreen video), it did the same wif chrome

hows the build quality? will it have a decent resell value after a year of use? like 1.8k to 2k?

I dun think Acer laptops have much resell value... Reason is that they refresh very fast, average build quality

Seems like when i open it in Fullscreen the Screen is Blank...(This using the NVidia GPU) - Got Sound but Blank Screen.

BUT

When i set the Chrome to open it using Intergrated Graphics...Can view in fullscreen...

See if its just me or the Card Problem...

I tried opening other youtube video on fullscreen but still blank screen...only got sound (Nvidia GPU)

Firefox Can Open Youtube vids Fullscreen Via NVida GPU and Intergrated...

Looks like Chrome is the Culprit...

so guys, does this means i should avoid all lappy with SB processor when buying new lappy?only 5750G model is affected or all lappy with SB are affected?

All SB notebook affected..

called...the guy says the replacement chipsets from intel has not reach yet...will probably reach on early march...

all laptops with SB processor are affected, but these days, i doubt u stil can find any of these laptops in the market. most of them has been recalled by respective manufacturer
