Just use Windows 64Bit bah... 32bit apps and games work fine.. just your Antivirus find a 64bit one like Avast!/Microsoft Security Essentials biggrin.gif
*
antivirus not a prob, my kaspersky license stil left 6 month, all i need to do is just to dl a 64bit version...
but some programs (like solidworks for my engineering course), the 1 i have is for 32bit...

U3 also can, even cheaper, but dun think it's as good as Infinite...

After seeing my friend's Infinite, I was very impressed with it... It cools the whole bottom of your laptop and you can adjust fan speed also...

I am using a U2, the individual fans is not really as strong I thought it should be... Well if you're very sure which parts of ur laptop to cool, go for U3 then, cheaper also...
*
U2 is not a good idea for 5750, coz its too small...i am using u2 now, coz last time my laptop 14 inch...

yes, go for u3 or zalman NC3000...infinite, never see before so cant comment hmm.gif hmm.gif

QUOTE(HolyCross @ Jan 22 2011, 03:35 PM)
guys,

can Acer 5750g plays 1080p HD videos?
QUOTE(GooD_DaY @ Jan 22 2011, 06:18 PM)
Don't think so as the screen is HD only, imo can be played after plugging to external Full HD monitors, but haven't try before yet.
*
play of coz can play, even last time my laptop with 14" oso can play

but if u connect to larger monitor, the quality u get wont be full HD quality, as the laptop can support up to 1366 x 768 onli

what are you talking about? Have you even connect to a larger monitor urself before? The laptop screen is 1366x768 doesnt mean the external monitor is the same also... As long as ur external monitor is FullHD, u would be able to get FullHD with it regardless of the laptop screen...
sorry he was misleading...
*
u sure? if u are then i was wrong then...sorry notworthy.gif

But the price really attractive, the shop I ask willing to give lower price somemore if I really buy, the USB 3.0 really interesting, has you tried the actual speed? thumbup.gif
*
yeap, i've got an external HDD with usb 3.0 compatible...the transfer rate is about twice as fast as usb 2.0 only...from what i've read, it should be around 3 times faster...mayb it'll be different if the internal hard disk is SSD thou...not really sure hmm.gif hmm.gif
