yeap same here...they quote me rm2899 at 1st, with 15 free gifts (all junks to me)

stil dciding whether to install 32bits or 64bits...most of my programs are in 32bits...

coz got many unwanted stuff...plus i need to do partition...disk management onli allow me to shrink out 300gb...i wan 150, 150 & 300

antivirus not a prob, my kaspersky license stil left 6 month, all i need to do is just to dl a 64bit version...
but some programs (like solidworks for my engineering course), the 1 i have is for 32bit...

U2 is not a good idea for 5750, coz its too small...i am using u2 now, coz last time my laptop 14 inch...

yes, go for u3 or zalman NC3000...infinite, never see before so cant comment

around 150 degree

play of coz can play, even last time my laptop with 14" oso can play

but if u connect to larger monitor, the quality u get wont be full HD quality, as the laptop can support up to 1366 x 768 onli

1st off, sorry again for the wrong info regarding full HD movie before...after doing some searching, i was wrong

i got mine in a shop at my place (sandakan) tat shop has branches all over sabah, called Digital Wise...if u're at sabah then uu can get from them too

nope, no keyboard unsensitive at all...(well, ther's 1, the "down" button - which i hav to press directly in the mid...if press from right side, then it wont respond, but nevertheless, i think its my unit problem, not every unit like tat)

yeap it does, u can take 1280 x 1024 pic & vid using the cam
(u can set it to 1280 x 1024 max, but bout the quality, i not sure whether its really 1280 x 1024 thou)

only thing lose to 5750 is the i5...
seems not bad for the price 2999 thou

if around 80 for idle means sumting wrong...80 for gaming (with cooler i guess) is normal or mayb consider ideal

now that u mentioned it, yes...even the inside acer logo area oso a bit soft lol

yeap, i've got an external HDD with usb 3.0 compatible...the transfer rate is about twice as fast as usb 2.0 only...from what i've read, it should be around 3 times faster...mayb it'll be different if the internal hard disk is SSD thou...not really sure

**61 mb/s is the fastest i've ever seen so far on my HDD + 5750g

apparently that was already proved by [G]ooD_DaY & eugene

the only thing i not so like bout this laptop now is the speaker...can't really play in high volume...the sound will break (as in canto : 爆声)
