14 or 15 does not make much difference ... smile.gif

I was eyeing on the Asus N53SN, but no FHD.

then the Dell XPS 15 MLK ... weight with 9 cells 2.87kg, still bearable, but noticed the graphic card was okay only.

Then the Alienware M15x ... but then the weight is > 3kg I think and not the latest CPUs ... by the way, I just noticed the M15x link is gone from Dell Malaysia website, or did I missed something?

So maybe the M14x is more suitable for me? at least it is still below 3kg .... tongue.gif

LOL, I beg to differ, 14 and 15 makes a whole world of difference laugh.gif
Considered a Sager? hmm.gif
As mentioned, M14x or the upcoming Dell XPS14 replacement (GPU probably nothing special as well) nod.gif

Nope.... anything beyond 512MB on a GPU is good edi... what matters now is just the clock speed on it~ nod.gif

I see, thanks for the explanation notworthy.gif

Size doesn't matter... Screen's clarity matters more~ Perfect example is HP's Radiance display~

Yeah, HP's Radiance display is very popular laugh.gif
I meant the size difference between a 14 and 15 incher is a lot, especially if one has portability in mind nod.gif
Made the mistake of getting a 15.6 incher last time, sold it, and I'm about to make the same mistake again in getting the M14x wub.gif

Depends...

ATI/AMD - Performance looks good on paper... but bogged down by poor driver software... (If you use default driver la)

NVIDIA - Performs decently good on paper... Performs nicely too~

Yeah, if gaming performance is more important, the M14x just won't do... its too weak for Alienware's standard... it doesn't stand out from the crowd (in terms of specs) sad.gif

Just checked out the M17x ... 4.3kg .... O_o

And it did not mentioned about the speakers and sound system, and how long can the 9 cell primary battery can last, anyone using it can share some info?

Thanx.

Did a bit of customization:
- Slot Load Fixed Blu-ray BD-ROM / DVD + /-RW Combo Drive
- 1.5GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M
Total price RM7831, a bit over my budget but I can still manage, but the weight .. 4.3kg ... sad.gif ... imagine the weight of 2 notebooks (1x M17x + 1 HP Compaq 6910p) on my back when I am traveling ...

Yeah, it'll no longer hold the Dell XPS name... wonder what it'll be called... I bet its going to be spectacular seeing that both the Adamo XPS and XPS 14 was announched to be EOL at the same time
