If you are into frequent gaming, you should purchase M17x-R3. Yes, it is quite heavy, but you are well equipped with the best video card. If you rarely play game, go for M14x which is lighter. Its video card should be just good enough for mid-detail gaming. Don't expect maximum game setting for M14x. QUOTE(duabijitelur @ Apr 8 2011, 05:14 PM) It is misleading to call M15x as a 15-inch laptop. Why?M15x is not really a 15-inch laptop. M15x is actually a 17-inch laptop with 15-inch screen. Why? Its size is just slightly smaller than M17x-R3. Thus, it would be wise to call "M15x" as M17x. It is my personal opinion, though. This post has been edited by alvinkhorfire: Apr 8 2011, 05:20 PM |

yeap, size of M15x is not 15 inch... almost reach 17 inch d...
but M14x structure seems weird ... and it gives heat to baterry ...just my opinion... but if M15x = M17x ... have to look at the pricing and specs... its just that size similar to M17x.. other functions are diff.. lol This post has been edited by duabijitelur: Apr 8 2011, 05:34 PM |

QUOTE(Unbreakable3131 @ Apr 8 2011, 06:17 PM) Got my 2nd tube of Artic silver 5 today.. decided to change my m15x's thermal paste.. Messy indeed! Look at what I saw when I open up my lappy -.- So messy... the previous dell engineer ahh... no eye see.. Was wondering where and how much you got your thermal paste, and any specific brand of screwdrivers you using? Any recommendations on where and what size of screwdrivers to get? Mine was screwed up so tightly till I can't remove the copper heat sink! Only got to that part so far, couldn't advance any further! |

Mine was screwed up so tightly till I can't remove the copper heat sink! Only got to that part so far, couldn't advance any further! I use those normal screwdrivers for specs, it's very small not much grip, but if you tie rubber band around it, it works like a charm! Yeah, mine was screwed really tight too, but managed to open after a few tries. ** Remember, don't get frustrated and force your way with the screws, if later your hand slip Added on April 8, 2011, 9:20 pm QUOTE(Lil Kiasu @ Apr 8 2011, 08:21 PM) Check this out bro!
