yurblex1a I see. Sorry for misunderstanding. As for now, the Notebook Review forum members are considering to install the latest NVIDIA and AMD GPU inside M17x R2. However, no success has been reported so far. M17x R2 should be able to support any MXM 3.0 graphic cards, including GTX 460M or AMD HD 6970. I think that Dell Alienware purposely restricts the BIOS, so that R2 cannot support the latest graphic cards. That way, we are "forced" to purchase another Alienware laptop from Dell, in order to use the latest graphic card. It is their business strategy. What to do? finally saw the result of the new hinge today (was away when its installed). definitely felt more sturdy, 'heavy' and stable relatively compared to the old hinge.

Guy after using few days Razer Ferox, i would suggest to those people using m11x, M15x for better sound quality, even M17x also get pawned by Ferox, but not a major different, M11x and m15x will totally pawned by Razer ferox Added on March 17, 2011, 7:17 pmQUOTE(Mr.Docter @ Mar 17 2011, 02:01 PM) imagine yourself carrying that monitor anywhere you go probably i would say is useless for 3D This post has been edited by putochip123: Mar 17 2011, 07:17 PM Attached thumbnail(s)
