2400 turbo speed is 3.4GHz.
Ur mobo will auto adjust the voltage assuming that u're using auto settings so nothing to worry about. It is not considered as an OC though as u're just setting to run at turbo speed.

Looks fine for me. Daily usage wont hit that stressed 93C coz not 100% cpu is utilized.

aiyo, if wan clock then don't scare, if scare then don't clock high clockspeed like this lo.
in my opinion , i think 4.5 compare to 4.9 not much different in daily using. i set it to 4.5 enough.
and for the voltage . as long as u don put 1.8 + 2.0v like that , no burn mark, intel 1 to 1 exchange to you within 3 years if processor faulty. what u scare?

Added on April 22, 2011, 5:14 pmbtw, may i ask what cooler you using to get 93c at 4.9 ghz ? quite good temp if you ask me. and what program you use to stress?

i using h70 with 2500k 4.5ghz linx already reach 82c, don't even dare to think about 5 ghz sure beyond 100c.

Overclocking is just for the fun and you are right on that whereby an extra 400Mhz isn't going to make a hell lot of difference for our daily usage. Not to mention the amount of Vcore required is a lot more compared to 4.5Ghz. Nevertheless these are all about interest and I'm happy at 4.9Ghz but nothing more. The moment it goes 5Ghz, I need loads of Vcore to keep the chip happy - something I'm not interested in doing.

I had the same problem smile.gif It looks like these tests doesn't necessarily guarantee stability anymore. Try upping the Vcore a notch or two.

Never had BSOD on both MIVE and UD7 B2+B3, both are so stable after LinX+Prime. Game by game finished smoothly on SLI.
AX1200W btw.
