Normal if u turn ON power saving feature ie. Speedstep (EIST), C1E, C3, C6.
Turn OFF to stay at set clock.

ok temps is fine. Just that the RAM capacity u stressed was too little.
Select "all" to stress all the available RAM. nod.gif

should be okay. My PC will shutdown suddenly if set below 1.55v.
CPU PLL doesnt really affect OC just the temp might be reduced abit but hardly noticeable. nod.gif

To name a few possibilities that lead to the failure:
1) insufficient voltage: vcore? vtt? dimm?
2) wrong RAM timing: too tighten vs vdimm/vtt - run memtest see

But since u said LinX passed at 47x or lower clock at the same RAM settings so the 1st possibility is more relevant.
