Hi I never even bought a keyboard before, and I'm still using my free Kensington keyboard. So I'm actually interested in the new Logitech K750 evolutionary solar powered keyboard. I really hope it's coming here, hopefully next year, any idea? And the estimated price is?

It's a wireless keyboard and its solar battery could recharge itself with indoor lighting too. And no battery replacement is required for the entire life of the product. It's thin, light and portable and convenient :]...!!!

Hopefully we can start going green with the keyboard smile.gifbiggrin.gif cool2.gif .......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for gaming toys, I do have a Logitech Momo Racing for racing games such as F1 2010 (original). It's great and it's 3 years old.

In terms of the spec, m555b wins. But you have to take note of the grip as both mouse design is different.

Comfortability is depends on personal preference, everybody with different hand.

But I think they having different kind of ergonomic, should need some time before get use to G700 if you already adapted to DA.

I'm a new user of Logitech G700 and so far the mouse is doing great. In comparison to Mamba, the only thing which G700 lacks is the precision in wireless mode. Other than that, it's a very good mouse.

Pros:
- Exceptionally well battery life unlike Mamba which is crap
- Great software (setpoint) and not laggy like Mamba's software
- Cheap and not a rip off like Mamba

Do you means those computer table with a piece of wood sliding in and out to save space?? (for keyboard)

For that I think you should more concern to the width instead of the height. Height should be fine, but G510 is quite a biggish keyboard, so check out its dimension (especially the width) and your computer table's drawer width.

ure right. i should consider the width as well lol. but i dun think the height of the drawer is enuf for me because it is a custom made table with just about 4cm high of space for the drawer. lol.

In exact dark place, its look quite bright.

At bright place, it look a bit dim but is much more better than G15.

I remember Mid Valley there's a shop got demo unit of G27. Not to mention with nice racing seat also brows.gif

But since there's some renovation going on there, I'm not very sure the shop still at there or not.

I just found something.

G510 with height of 1.5 inches at he LCD and 2.0 inches with the adjustable tilt extended.

Convert yourself to get the figure, anyway, roughly estimate 1.5' is less than 4cm.

It uses AA batteries and wireless mode works fine. Those reviews are probably using old setpoint software and firmwares. Mamba is a lot crappier than this surely smile.gif

I think you will like it a lot if you're moving over from Mamba biggrin.gif There might be things which aren't so good about G700 but overall, it still beats Mamba so no regrets. Sensonic is difficult to make you enjoy gaming, haha.

I sold away my G13 long long time ago, cause expected its price will drop like hell.

Anyway, G13 is the better keyboard for FPS for certain player who get used to G13 kind of ergonomic.

MK550, or some kind of ergonomic keyboard, since you concern about comfortability.

Which keyboard?

Anyway, as long as not laser etched or double shot key caps, it surely fade off after some intense usage, printing lifespan just depends on usage and quality.

the problem rise again at next few corners and repeat sad.gif

Logitech Unveils Theater-Quality Surround Sound Speakers
user posted image

QUOTE
So you can hear every detail in your movies, games and music, today Logitech unveiled the Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z906. Delivering 500 watts (RMS) of power, the Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z906 are THX Certified, creating a theater-quality audio experience in your living room.

“We’re delighted to offer consumers a successor to the highly acclaimed Logitech Z-5500 Digital 5.1 Speaker System,” said Mark Schneider, vice president and general manager of Logitech’s audio business unit. “The Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z906 are the logical evolution of surround sound speakers, and we’re confident they will become an indispensable part of the living room.”

Powerful Audio — 500 Watt, THX-Certified Speakers
The Logitech Surround Sound Speakers offer 500 watts (RMS) of power, delivering thunderous audio that can shake your house. Logitech’s newest speakers have met strict performance standards to achieve THX certification — so you can be sure that your entertainment will sound the way it was meant to.

For your Dolby digital or DTS encoded soundtracks, onboard 5.1 digital decoding enables detailed surround sound — from the roar of the crowd to the footsteps right behind you. If you love house-shaking bass, the ported, side-firing subwoofer delivers 165 watts of pure, distortion-free bass. And the Logitech Surround Sound Speakers convert two-channel stereo into an immersive surround sound experience.

Designed for the Living Room — Connect Up to Six Audio Devices
The Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z906 not only sound good, they are designed to fit into your existing living room setup. You can connect up to six audio devices simultaneously — including your TV, DVD, DVR, Blu-Ray player, Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3, Wii, iPod and even your PC or Mac laptop. And with its easy-to-read display and easy-to-stack design, the control console looks good with your home-entertainment system.

For your convenience, a wireless remote lets you control your listening experience without ever getting off the couch. And, wall-mountable satellites turn any room into a home theater.

Pricing and Availability
The Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z906 are expected to be available in the U.S. and Europe in March 2011 for a suggested retail price of $349.99 (U.S.). Visit www.logitech.com or our blog for more information.

I just bought it from LingLoong..
But I don't really like it..... sad.gif
It's not suitable for fast typing..

Sometimes when I press spacebar softly (and fast), it register double space; or sometimes doesn't register the press at all..

So I went to http://www.microsoft.com/appliedsciences/c...gExplained.aspx to test this keyboard..

When I didn't fully press the key (any key, not just spacebar), it won't register the keypress or sometimes the key on that site went green on a blink..... but when I press the key very hard, it will stay green.. which I believe it means this keyboard only properly register the keypress when I fully press the key or when I press it harder..

While typing this post, there's a few double space occur.. but when I preview the post, there's no double space shown probably because of this forum automatically remove it..

And just now I found the same issue raised by other user http://logitech.lithium.com/t5/G-Series-Ga...ing/td-p/590818

Guys, my G15 v2 seems to have a problem with the spacebar button. It's no longer tactile. I have to press it all the way down for it to register - and half the time, the button would be stuck there. It would not spring up again until I lightly rap the connecting wrist rest with my wrist or I firmly press down the button again.

Warranty ended years ago. I wonder if there's anyone here that experienced the same problem before? Any fix?

I was planning to purchase either Razer Lycosa or Logitech G510. Which one you guys see fit?  hmm.gif

Lycosa - Noisy key and not so bright lighting
G510 - What else can I say w/ the LCD? laugh.gif

If you want it for the design, you might wanna skip it. Glossy products are very sensitive to the fingerprints. Unless you're hardworking to wipe those fingerprints everyday nod.gif

K750 looks nice especially with the solar panel. Keys are separated well enough for comfy typing smile.gif

I dont feel so...

Chiclet design + incurve keys may be more stylish but definitely not nice to type on doh.gif (i like the incurve keys on k800 though). The keys is small and have sharp edge. I dont want to sacrifice comfort for the design... wink.gif
*
That is you that don't feel comfy...

Some may like Wave some may not...

He, pegasus, go to any shop that have keyboards demo unit and try if the keyboards suit him or not.

Regarding the comments made on the K750, I think it sounds a pretty cool piece of hardware - it does cost more, yes, but you do save on the batteries long term. And the keys are supposedly nice to type on, except for some sizing problems with the 'Enter' key (which this review points out).

Though I guess the feel of keys is subjective, of course, as someone else pointed out. Well worth thinking about, anyway - and quiet to type on, too, which is always nice...

They are both similarly the same but G510 is newer.

G15v2 - 6 macro keys and only red key backlit.
G510 - 18 macro keys, audio jacks and customizable backlit.

I am using both g15v2 & G510

g15
- two USB port
- no speaker & mike output
- media key need to press hard (not user friendly) and also nit back lit
- volume control very finicky
- back lighting fixed to amber color

g510
- no usb port
- built in speaker & mike output
- improved media key (soft touch & user friendly)
- improved volume control (using the scroll knob type)
- customized programmable multi color back light
- extra micro key
- better built and functionality but cheaper than g15
- looks cool when installed with win amp visual equaliser bar display plug - in + installing script to make the back lit key color changes synchronising with the music playing in win amp

I recommend u buy G510 instead of g15..better value for money

There's already a virtual keyboard and I believe the external keyboard layout is the same as virtual.

I also won't invest for that. iPad is good and cheapo case can do the job already.

Just that I didn't know Logitech manufacture case for iPad 2 laugh.gif

I didn't try Z-523 so cannot give any opinion on it. But if you can go to any shop got speaker demo would be better. Can test all of the speakers you want smile.gif

If you want to test logitech speaker can go to Mid Valley. There got a logitech shop smile.gif

Hi Logitech Users and Fans,

Anyone using Anywhere Mouse (M905) ?
I would like to know the battery life of the mouse.

Some reviews out there claims there's problem with battery life for the Darkfield mouse....

Anyone manage to comment how long the battery actually last ?

Guys i'm looking for a mouse that's suitable for surfing & games, no need too high end ones as long as it's good enough.

Am thinking of getting a logitech wired mouse any recommendations for under rm100?

Someone recommend me MX518 but they say abit outdated.

Also any seller or shops that sells the cheapest Logitech mouse in town?

IMO pretty good compare it to my old razer death adder v2. But i find it weird that the front part kind of slant downwards from left button which sometimes makes me uncomfortable. Brand new for just RM160 or..? Wow. biggrin.gif

ohh nono, what i meant was that u might need to sacrifice the quality of the music over games and movies if u were to get all these home theater sound systems.

but all these are according to critics la tongue.gif really should go and try out the system to see which part is really lacking ...

Yeah, the retail price for Logitech Z906 is RM1299. I think probably Low Yat will sell it at RM1200. But many said Z906 is actually inferior than Z5500.

How long? Initial I thought this Z906 actually sounded worse than my Altec Lansing. Maybe I didn't setup up correctly. It is better but haven't give me the wow feeling.
*
Normally new speakers drivers needs to run-in, and the period of running-in a speakers drivers is varies and depends on how often you use it at and how loud you play.
After your speakers drivers has run-in(might take 1 week, 2 weeks or maybe more), Tune up your whole Z906 Speaker Driver System with spectrum analyzer(I presume you know how to use it) then the sound will be decent and very clear from low to high frequency, for gamings & movies the positioning and the boom(bass) will be super tight & clear and for music almost all the music equipment will be very clear and if you have DTS Sound Files for testing you will feel that as if you are listening to the music life .

I gone to Digitalmall on Friday and went to AllIT Hypermarket.
Saw the Logitech G400 same price as the Logitech MX518 at RM89.00!!! shocking.gif
Was shocked for awhile though, thought my eyes go blur or something... so it is really same price? blink.gif

Yeah, i was wondering why also. Because last time i check internet the price is rumored to be around RM150. So i was also kinda shocked when i saw the G400 being put side by side with the MX518 and sporting the same price tag also...
Later i will go to The Curve. Will check it again at AllIT hypermarket. Wanna double-check.

Just want to ask some questions here.

Is a keyboard-mice combo better or the should i get them separately? I am talking about wireless here. The combo seems attractive due to single receiver.

My requirement is simple. Keyboard should have media keys, Mouse should have the left-side buttons that i can use.

if money is not an issue, i suggest that get it separately. find mouse and kb which suits you best. furthermore, single receiver could be overcome as logitech's tech on unifying would let you share same receiver. that's my 2 cents though. rolleyes.gif

Erm... owners of G700, can i ask some questions?
The G700 mouse you guys owned, the mouse surface, is it rubberized like those of the Razers, or is it the smooth-plastic one? I wanna ask because was intending of getting it and im not fond of rubberized surfaces. Btw, the G700, it is both wireless and wired right? you can switch between them right?

i feel sorry for your case, but to be honest, PC fair staff can't be rely on, because they are mostly students that are looking part time jobs(PC Fair for quick bucks)

These are temporally staff for targeted for sales, that which would not support customer in any kind of problem.

Can understand why they engage part-timer, but atleast station a few experience/ technical staffs there to support wat. This will just make them lose their customer. Sad case for them.

IMO u cannot repair that Harmony. Logitech doesnt have any service center in Malaysia. and since its already warranty void, u can do nothing anymore.

My G9x served me great till now. Even though some of the spots that i regularly hold , coating came off. However , theres a few times that it was hard to get a grip of. But it's rare. Been using the mouse for a few years now smile.gif

Erm... guys, i have a question in mind.
For the G700, the settings that we changed in the setpoint software, is it being saved in the mouse itself, or is it being saved at the computer. If i make the settings/changes in my G700 using my laptop, and i plugged it into my desktop without the setpoint software, will i be able to use the mouse's settings that i set up earlier?
Sorry for this noob question, Im new into gaming mice... I wonder whether all those gaming mouse (Death Adder, Lachesis, Imperator, G9x, G500, Kone+, Kova+, Xai) are all the same?

Cannot lol without the newest setpoint software, at least for me.
After I set in my mouse in my main desktop, the setting can use on any computer as long as connecter is inserted into the USB.

Just check your mouse has on board memory or not. If yes, basically after setting it is stored in your mouse.

o.O, meaning if you set up the mouse in Computer A, you can use the settings in Computer B but if you want to change the settings while using Computer B, you need the latest (not necessary the same version in Computer A, but maybe newer) setpoint, is it?

all data are saved inside the mouse and won't change even if you use a different pc. the only thing you need setpoint is when you need to set new settings in the mouse. if not, you don't need setpoint, setpoint is just to configure your mouse.

For sensitivity issue, i think it's still resides on your resolution, since higher resolution need higher dpi/sentivity to compensate mouse traveling speed.

all data are saved inside the mouse and won't change even if you use a different pc. the only thing you need setpoint is when you need to set new settings in the mouse. if not, you don't need setpoint, setpoint is just to configure your mouse.

For sensitivity issue, i think it's still resides on your resolution, since higher resolution need higher dpi/sentivity to compensate mouse traveling speed.

+1. If you really wanna change/ configure some settings of the mouse on different PC, then you have to install the SetPoint software. If not, just go ahead plug in the wireless receiver and switch on the mouse smile.gif

oh..... okok, now i understand that the setpoint is just the "tool" to change the settings while the settings are saved on the mouse's on-board memory and it will not change unless i changed it will setpoint again. Thanks for your explanation sifu chuah notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Ok. I was asking because i thought that once the mouse you set it in one PC/laptop, when you change your PC/laptop, then the mouse cannot retain its settings.... noobie me sweat.gif sweat.gif
Now i fully understand it already, thank you guys for answering my some-what noob questions with patience and details.

hey guys, gotta a question regarding the m950 mouse...

anyone using it? how do you find it?

i havent gotten used to it yet after using it for a month, it doesnt feel so responsive .. kinda annoyed by it .. paying so much but not getting a good experience with it ..

i remember using a microsoft wireless mouse but it doesnt give me this unpleasant mouse jitter/unresponsive to it ..

any idea what i can do to improve it?

Cheers

Added on August 10, 2011, 1:34 amoh btw, does surface colour does a difference on traction? cos my table is currently light grey, .. does it differ from black surface?

cheers

I replaced my faulty razer arctosa ( after 1 month mad.gif ) with g510 and i think its the best keyboard ever. I'm not prepared for another faulty product this time. but we'll see. . unsure.gif

I have bad experience with M100 mouse. I keep falling from cliff mad.gif vmad.gif on Cliffhanger level on COD:MW2 especially after jump. After change to new mouse, I pass the level easily & I only use gaming mouse from that point but for normal use, I still that mouse until now biggrin.gif

currently my mouse, Logitech V120, sot sot dei adi.
i am looking for a new mouse. now i am in hesitation between M310 and M325.

my question are:
1. both mouse oso can use at any surface? or does M310 with laser beam better?
2. normally the battery can last how long? my usage is around 10hours per day.
3. the indicator light will show when battery in low power?

G510 spacebar skipping problem happens to me once also. no biggie coz Logitech always replaced their faulty products with a new set, not repairing it. and i think this spacebar skipping problem is just a batch problem. coz my new G510 is working flawlessly until now smile.gif

Derpends... the G400 is the replacement for the MX518 while the G300 imo is a new ambidextrous mouse to cater for lefties as well..... I'd say it comes down to your budget and the pricing of both mice wink.gif

But other factors like texture, gripping, feel, looks are all down to personal preferences nod.gif

i think it would be better to get a mech keyboard? though mech kb is slightly exp. but the typing feelin is nice drool.gif icon_rolleyes.gif .

and also ive used the g110 before, somehow the volume scroll tends to get stuck, not sure if is it only my g110 problem or was it a known problem to g110. and also i feel that the keys needs slightly more force to press compare to mech kb.

to add on, the printing and lighting on g110 is like..@.@ cant make it..u have the feelin like its relly palia design.

Me too prefer ambidextrous mice and im a claw gripper, but well, since i got G700, might as well getting some use to it. I also have other mice that are ambidextrous, so can still practice using both designs...

I think getting a mech keyboard is also a good choice, since those gaming keyboards also costs alot. Plus, most gaming keyboards made by manufacturers are still membrane keyboards, only a few are mech keyboards (Razer Black Widow, Steelseries 6Gv2, Steelseries 7G, CM Storm Trigger, CM Storm Quick Fire Rapid, Mionix Zibal and etc.) are gaming boards.

good choice rclxms.gif thumbup.gif if budget wise, jz go for BW expert, no backlits. BW ultimate n BW expert price diff is around rm100, and the diff is only back lits.

perhaps u can read the Razer thread, n hopefully get more reviews from there since afterall, this is logitech thread. tongue.gif

Hi. I bought two C210 web cameras yesterday and have a query regarding their warranty. Do I need to register them online for their warranty to be valid? Also, should something go wrong with them would I bring them back to the sop I purchased them from or contact Logitech directly?

Cheers.

I would go for Xbox controller. Tried the Logitech controller and the joystick got a little bit problem after a certain time of usage.

Maybe is my controller issue though.

my rumblepad 2 serves me well...and that's a used logitech controller..i can't comment on sensitivity, but i think the controller was just as good as my xbox controller...the only reason i sell the controller was because it's kinda small, and my hand's big...so i have to buy the xbox controller - much more comfy.. laugh.gif

Get G110, LCD is just for decoration for me unless it can support a lot of games. Price diffrence between them not much, if you look at lelong its even at same price.

I recommend G110 also.

The only thing I did w/ the lcd is to watch video thru VLC player(G19). Not sure is it same w/ G510.

want to ask something ... a few days ago my logitech G5 a few button is not so sensitive and one of them are not functioning ... i bring back to AllIT they say they need to charge a RM30 for delivery charges and since the insulator wired is not in a good condition they say it might get rejected ...

so my question is if i bring it to this address

MCL Bhd
No. 9, Jalan USJ 1/1C, Taman Subang Mewah,
Subang Jaya, 47620 Selangor.

do i still need to pay the RM30 delivery charges ?? icon_question.gif

Perhaps not. How long since you buy your mouse?
If within 1 week usually shop bear replacement cost for mouse, keyboard etc.

Got myself an logitech K750 keyboard for HTPC purpose. Love it!

I have been using it for few weeks. Key stroke is soft yet sensible, giving me the notebook feel. thumbup.gif Thickness of the keyboard is excellent.

Any users of M905 mouse here?

Want to ask about the Hyper Scrolling? Is it any good?
Does it feel right? Or the feel is loose when scrolling?

And I need to know whether is there a Centre mouse click, important because I use it all the time to open a new Tab.

There are 2 modes.
The toggle is the button behind the scrollwheel... you click once, one mode, click again, toggle back.

Behind the scroll wheel is NOT the same as the centre mouse click right?
Does the scroll wheel have a centre mouse click?

So you click once its like a free wheeling mode, and click once it has click click mode?

Behind the scroll wheel, got one button that is for hyperscroll toggle, the centre mouse click is you click with the scroll wheel. Different button.
Yeah, you click the toggle once, it's free scrolling, toggle again, it is the clicky one.
